New Grower Sweet Caroline - Sweet Tooth Auto BF Indoor Grow

Day 40 - March 6

Overall her flower sites are developing really nicely. Vertical growth has pretty much stopped. Did some LST to spread out the sites. Threw in a few pics of my 2 Royal AK Queens, day 8.

She doesn't seem to be drinking as fast as she was the past week. Possibly salt lock out due to me not watering enough last feed, no run off with 5mL grow and 2.5mL bloom with 1.5L (5mL/L). I plan on increasing my mix to 1.75L with the same feed but switching to full bloom nutes (4.28mL/L). Three leaves at the very bottom are very yellow. I will check my ph before I feed tomorrow morning before work, its been 6.5 but just guessing from my drip kit colour index. I haven't checked run-off ph yet but I will get a reading tomorrow.

One of the main branches seems very stressed. It was closest to the fan and there was quite a bit of turbulence plus when I was trying to get the bushy lady outta the cab the tip got caught in the fan blades and I think it may have shocked the whole branch or shoot, fat boot got slapped lol The leaves seem very soft and silky/limp only on that branch near the top. The rest of her leaves seem okay.

Looking through the infirmary thread I may mix up some epsom salt and cal mag with my next feeding in 3 days or so. Blaze 1!

:peace:

Checked pH before feeding and runoff, same colour, assumed 6.5 based on the colour chart of my drip kit. The bottom leaves had some brown spots and I cut the limp leaf on the stressed stem, it was dried out and dead due to the fan incident. Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

Looking good man!
I'm still a newbish grower, but I'd guess those lower yellowing leaves are left over nitrogen deficiency from her growth spurt. The bud sites are looking really healthy though, so think you're ok. Could post some close up pics to get a better idea of the 'brown spots' you mentioned.

Thanks nomis, I'll take some pics after work and post. I was ina bit of a rush this morning feeding plant/feeding dog/feeding self lol

Don't know if you know this, but those test strips are grossly inaccurate. they can be off as much as 0ne foll order of magnitude, so a 6.5 could really be a 5.5 or a 7.5! I know, a decent meter is not cheap, It hurt to spend $40 on one, but, its well work it and should last a long time. I wouldn't trust my plants to those test strips!

Hey pops, ye I knew they were inaccurate but not by that much! I haven't had issues until now that's why I held off. I'm leaning towards toxic salt build up since I didn't have runoff my last feed but had alot this morning so hopefully that'll flush some shit out. The meters I checked at my store were like 200!? Ima try dwc in the future like you so it's def a good investment. Plus checking my runoff was a bit questionable since it was slightly discoloured to begin with.

Close up pics at the base of the plant. Two leaves completely yellowed and pulled off easily. Stressed fan area recovering. Bud sites developing.

Your day 42 ladies, looks like mine day 58 gals, in terms of bud development. So much for 15W LED, huh. My new 90W UFO got them going tho, but they had to wait 22 days under a single 15W LED first. Such a travesty.

Day 43 - March 9

Fed 10mL bloom a b with 2L, lots of runoff. Organized cab a bit, hung the fan with wire, repositioned pots .

Switched out 3 bulbs to 2700k. Two on the ceiling and one on the top back wall. She is doing well and frosting up a bit, did some more LST. Bud sites are spread out.

Noticed some male pre-flowers possibly? Hopefully she aint a he/she. The site/stem that had the stressful fan incident (fan leaf got chopped up) could have possibly stressed it to do this? The main cola doesn't have any that I could see but most other stems showed that growth. If anyone can comment on this that'd be sweet. If that's the case would it pollinate before harvest? I have 2 other plants doing well in the cab on day 11.
