Ok guys i know this has been asked before but my situation is alittle different..ok so i have 3 northern lights auto about 2 weeks old..then afghan kush ryder and 60 day wonder 1 week behind them...then another afk and blue rhino just sprouting...ive heard i should switch to hps when they start to pre flower...would switch to hps to benefit older plants be really bad for the younger ones? I dont have the space/money for another grow room..all are auto's except blue rhino making her a mother plant..any advice would b greatly appreciated!

I have used a MH for veg..then switched to a HPS when the vertical growth stopped and flowering began in ernest...
but I never switched at pre-flower stage...
It would be interesting to try both ways to see if there was any advantage to changing spectrums that early..

I never noticed any harm to the plants when switching bulbs, even to nearby sprouts.

i use hps from start to finish never even plugged in an mh bulb in mine..maybe i would but it came broken so i just use the hps all the way and its fine for me :D

HPS should be fine. I vegged mine under my HPS til I got another ballast to run my MH. Honestly I like the HPS a little better cause its about 20000 extra lumens

You will be fine just keep the hps a little bit away from the babys, You can use hps all the way threw your grow no need to us mh unless you really want to. :)

Hey bud, I was running hps for flowering and seedlings in the same tent, with no issues. Just adjust as needed,
Lots of luck with your hps:dance:

Nice...lets hope these nirvana NL auto like there supposed to then I will have no worries..thanx guys
