I love getting to test new gadgets! Out of curiosity, do you know if your tds meter uses the .7 or .5 calculation?

It says to only use NaCl to calibrate so I assume it's the 0.47-0.50.

Day 6

pH 5.84 - adjusting daily
res temp 78.3 - starting to get a bit high

If anyone eyeballing this thread sees anything wrong with numbers, color (I guess no more blurple pics), pH, or ppm, please, feel free and speak up! Constructive criticism is always welcome!
What should I expect with ppm or pH as this goes on? I noticed @Muddy talking about pH rising and ppm dropping. Is that why I'm chasing pH so much? I've only had the TDS meter for a day so I've only got the one point on the graph.
Thanks so much, this wouldn't be possible without AFN for me.

I'd slowly bring it up to 450ppm, like increase between 50 and 100 a day.

Day 10:

Good growth so far.
320 ppm - going up by 10 every day. Is it from chasing the pH with pH down?
5.86 pH - it goes up to about 6.1 after about 24 hrs
I'm having fun so far!

I don't know what would cause the ph fluctuation, but it seems to stay within the accepted range between 5.5 and 6.5. [emoji106] [emoji6]

350 ppm - rises by 10 ppm daily
5.81 pH - holding steady. No adjustments in two days
Got a bit hot in my room so you're seeing some leaves curling.

Slowly raising ppm as suggested. Thank you!
400 ppm
5.82 pH - stabilized, no adjustments in days
No problems to report. Just some leaves curling because it's been hot and dry in there.
