Had some problems in my last grow with a male pollinating my females and making hermies, Have been growing this iced widow plant and it is showing her pistols, just need to know if this is a calyx or male parts?

All help is appreciated.

That's definitely a male part. I'd cut it off with some nail clippers and let it ride.

Wouldn't it still produce seeds in the harvest, I always thought you pretty much chop it down, I do have another plant in there with it.

Well I suppose that depends on why it's a hermie. The plants i'm running (Afghan Kush Ryder & Dark Devil) both started out with a couple of ball due to heat stress. I cut them off and everything is fine. You need to keep an eye out for any more that pop up and clip them off immediately. This is just my 2 cents :Sharing One:

Yeah if you can stay on top of it and remove them before they open you won't get seeds. I had a DP white widow that hermied early on, I had to remove about a dozen or so but none grew back during later flowering and harvest came out fine. (link to that journal is in my sig if you want to see for yourself.)

My last AKR also had one pop up, I just pulled it off and she was good to go.
