Mephisto Genetics Testing for Mephisto

Hi Pop, I am having the same issue with the water from our spring house. It starts at about 8.5, I adjust it down to 6.5 and in 24 hours it will be up in the high 7's. I have adjusted the same batch down a couple of times but it still creeps back up. Crazy

I think maybe adding some distilled water might help, going to try it and see. I figure my actual water volume in the res is about 12-14 gallons. going to add 3 gallons of distilled to the next res change and see what happens.

tested the tap water ppms still 127. I'm puzzled.

If is all calsium that will get your ph to rise.
I have used filtered water in my res,, no calsium... when nutes added ph is 4,5. ore less
No filtered water = more calsium ph is about 5.8-6.2..
Just my experience NOT facts...Im not a chemist..

The thing is, the ppms are what they have been for the last year. I had a water report in July and the cCal Mag levels were ok. But could be something has changed for sure. PH use to be 7.0 right from the tap now, its 7.5 - 7.7! Maybe from not enough rain, don't know. All I know is it didn't help the issues I had growing in soil, now I'm seeing the same thing in my DWC, and I need to spend more money like I need a couple more ex wives....lol!

Went out and bought 10 gallons of distilled water. Going to do a res change and see if blending the distilled with my tap water helps, and use some to see if I can save some of the plants I have growing that are in soil. RO unit will be ordered as soon as I can, just hope this helps until then. Will also change out the Kratky bucket before it gets too bad.

Here are a couple pics, this looks like PH issues, but its not. First one is a Chemdogging, the next is Cheese x Durrty Dragon in soil, same problem.

Did a res change today. I used 5 gallons of distilled water and about 8 gallons of bubbled tap water. PH to 5.8. After adding nutes it=t was 5.6, a bit low, but I'll give it a day to see if it rises a bit, and I'm out of PH up anyway. Added 490 ppms of Maxigrow. Will add more in a couple days, after ph stabilizes, to bring it back to 600 ppms. Hoping this eliminates the problems for now till I can afford the RO unit. I'm watering all my soil plants with the distilled water also, hoping I can save some of them. My Durrty Cheese just started to flower when the same problems struck it also, hoping I can save them! I'd really like to see them bud! Same damn thing with my Durrty Dragon x Blueberry Headband, they got some nice size to them then went to hell with the yellowing and burnt edges on the leaves. I didn't get many seeds from that cross, so hoping that I've really found the cause of all this.

Ohh yes but i must say they Deserve that Takeover. Me Genetic Freak really must say for me Mephisto is my Top Notch Auto Brand and Dna for the Photoperiods. Cant wait to see Mephisto Gear at Cup Entrys. I guess they would blow the Top 3 Lists!!

Has anyone noticed that Mephisto has taken over this forum by storm! Thanks for bringing us these outstanding genetics!

Who didn't see this coming though? From the jump they've been on the ball! Now it's obvious why teachers made us "show your work." They came full force, laid everything out plain and simple for all to see, and kept their noses to the grindstone. They really have been exemplary throughout theit entire process!

My Mephisto plants appear to have bounced back from the damage done by my water. Growth has started again and the yellowing has halted. One plant is iffy, but I'll let it grow till it sexes, then chop it if its male. Overall, this chemdogging is looking very nice!

The four plants to the right are Chemdogging.
