i forgot to mention, there is another grower on youtube that is growing auto's in the super soil and they seem to be doing well in what is a hot mix soil

TGA Super Soil

I have the TGA charge pack I mixed up a batch only tried it for one auto NLXBB used a 7gal pot bottom half filled with ss then 
OF on top. The germed seed grew great for the first month then slowed to a crawl with lots of leaf curl and burn I cut it down and threw it out the root ball was in the OF almost nothing grew down into the ss mix but my photo plants like the ss.

Yeah, the guy in that youtube video you posted is subcool. He is the creator of the "super soil" mix.
Supersoil is amazing stuff. All the info on the ingredients is easily accessible online. And it is indeed all organic.
Supersoil is also very powerful, which is why it should be used as a base soil. (which you said you did)
I think the reason you had problems with your autos is because most autoflower strains a very nutrient sensetive and like generally low doses of nutes.
It is probably too strong to use on most autos as you would photosensitive strains. If you did want to use it, I would mix the supersoil 1:1 with a soiless mix (sunshine, ect) and then use the mix as a base soil. Also I would fill the top half of the bucket with just plain soiless mix instead ofOF.

You got to let it cook for something like 2 months... joedirt has a recipe in here for auto's i believe, The stuff SubCool makes is for photos, even he uses 8 inches of seed starter as not to burn them up....and OF is hot to I'v stunted autos using it with out a pocket of seed starter to get it to 4 weeks old?
