If we ever got medical or full legalization here I'd approach it from two different directions. My friend and I have discussed this at length and we'd want to have a legal grow and dispensary if they went with that model. We've already got a lawyer and doctor on board for both their expertise and the docs ability to write scripts, as well as financial backing. For those who want to grow their own, I'd offer consulting services. Go in, spec the grow area, make equipment recommendations, even purchase the equipment and do the physical setup, all for a fee. Free grow advice during the first grow, then continued support, for a fee. Basically what I do here for free. The local community college offers a master gardeners course. It's something I've wanted to take anyway and it would add to my credentials.
