Mission impossible accomplished Blazee's and Jointlemen.......
....as the threadmark says, this is how I top my girls......
......First ties in for these CN....not really alot to write....My hooks are just normal 3mm rubber garden wire...about 4" long.....I gently bend the stems first, over into the position where I want them to be....Then put the hooks in at an angle, pointing away from the main stem, this is to try and stop the stems slipping out of the hooks, I don't like using hooks much, because sometimes when I am pushing them in the medium, I feel like they are snapping roots....AND they can slip to the middle, which means they are doing nothing.....This can cause a problem in the way that if a hook slips....say, an hour after you put them on and you don't check it until the next day....The un-hooked stems will continue upwards and can become MUCH stronger in that time, making them short but stiff, which is a problem when bending them like we do....and attempts to bend back into position can snap/split the main stem....if this has happened 2moz, I will take some pics to illustrate!
...so, if you read my first hook post......what I said about the hooks falling inwards has happened to the CN, one I expected it to happen coz the stems were short and we're just guiding them, really!....the other looks like she is trying to wriggle out of them, even after I placed a staybar there last night...
.

...as the threadmark says.....I took the first inside leaves off the CN today, while resetting the hooks....and I fookin snapped one too...
...with snaps, I tape them up.....Instantly, then prey......I have tried to show the inside leaf removal in the two pics with the snap.....the removal of these two leaves is, I feel, imperative to my six point technique....as it opens the new nodes up to the light, so they can grow fast and become big enough to not only tie down, but grow sizeable colas themselves....if you don't take them off....These leaves will shade the two new nodes, and not allow them to grow as well.
....but here are some finished pics...again sorry about the lines, I think it's the ballast
