I'm not sure if I understand the term micro grow, does a closet qualify,if that's the case people have been pulling those off since the 70s and my uncle grew in a small closet in the 80s ,maybe people didn't call there small grows micro, probably a new term in the old world of small indoor gardening.
no... I dont think closet grows count at all as micro grows... micro grows are more so computer case grows. small box grows. usually around two cubic feet or less.basically as small as possible. for instance.. I pulled an ounce dry off of a Pandora auto out of a computer tower. a few grows later, I pulled a total of two ounces off of two photos out of the same case. I stuck mostly to just utilizing pc cases. I had one case set up for vegging. another tower setup for flowering, and a clone/breeding case. all varying in sizes. biggest being the flowering tower that was two ft tall. the vegging case was 16" tall and just as wide as the flowering tower. my clone/breeding tower was same height as my veg tower, but was about half the width. micro growing is its own style and technique of growing. it sounds silly, but it really does take a lot of knowledge/skill to pull that kinda weight out of such a small place. my flowering tower was pushing 182 actual watts. just designing the tower took a lil bit of planning to figure out how to hold 7x26 watt cfl's two plants and to keep tempts down. learning different techniques through trial an error that would allow a person to maximize such a small space is what a micro grow is all about. check out my thread that I linked in my second post in this thread if you want to see what I am talking about.
Ive grown in lots of small places like closets, lockers, desk cabinets, cramped attic rooms, and things like computer cases. I enjoy the challenge of using space efficiently and fitting a grow into small areas and places I can manage, and the stealthiness helps.
Doing autos in my micro tent atm but when I start on my photo fems I'm going to have to try scrogging them in 40x40x100cm with about 50cm grow height lol
Terra... That's what it's all abou amigo!!!
Sporsnads... I have found that if u do all ur training of photos while they are in 16oz solo cups, they are very easily manageable. That way when u transplant them into their bigger growing/flower pots, they already have a shit ton of "future cola shoots".
That's pretty much how I did my querkle grow. Kept clones in 16oz cups and every time they would get to about 6inches, I would trim em down and fimm each shoot every time. I'm sure u can imagine that after a month and a half of this training, I had a massive amount of nodes and bud sites.
Nice. I'm now actually looking at buying a 60x60 tent tomorrow haha (little bonus in wages this month ) so after I've done my amnesia xxl auto I'll be looking at keeping a small mother in the 40x40 and use the 60x60 for flowering
