New Grower Think Different.

My think different is finishing up and hands down I can say the frosty freaking nugs I've ever grown... Picked a sample bud to check seeds ripeness (75% grade a seeds!) the smell and stickiness were so unique I couldn't even let it dry all the way before sampling it... With out a proper dry and def no cure, one bowl got me feeling nice! Can not wait to run this strain without it being a seed run, have two more beans left and going to try and seed those exclusively in the love tent :)

Your photo and first auto Are looking great! Going to be a nice harvest with some frosty nugs! Must do a smoke report for us! Your going to be really pleased with the think different... A very easy forgiving plant... Grade a+++ genetics!
Peace brother

many thanks for all the comments. I am looking forward to the smoke test. It's a long way off yet. I wonder how it will compare to my Northern lights! Definitely my favourite so far.

Well I moved the TD's into the proper grow room now as it does run a few degrees cooler in there, about 26c i think. I hope that will help with the upturned leaves.
Time will tell

Think Different so far.

Hi guys.
here are the babies so far. I have a few issues that i could do with some opinions on. I am sorry to be a pain in the butt!

First up is the DWC TD.
I think the res has been a bit warm hencwe the drooping leaves. I did a res change today, so I think I can leave it till tomorrow and then add a frozen bottle of water to the res to try and keep the temps lower. they were about 80f when I checked last.

I have been careful to keep the Ph at 5.8 and there is no sign of tip burn, hence I don't think it is a nutes issue.

Next is the twins. I re-potted them today in a tiered, larger pot to try and utilise the most of the new pots depth. Mainly to allow room for 2 root sets.

Last but not least is the TD planted in Chicken manure top soil. I am thinking the Nitrogen level was too high due to the node gaps. They seem far too long compared to the other plants.

I really appreciate and advice/opinions to take on board.

Take care all.

Looking good, I have a TD on the go about a week behind you, keep them pics coming - sub'd

My think different at 27 days from germination.

It showed sex a few weeks ago. I am thinking of switching it to flower nutes next weekend.
PH 5.8 - 5.6
PPM 1800

I have to say, I am sure this plant will make the soil grows I have side by side look feeble...

the DWC is still soldering on. I have decided to drop the PPM down. I was running as high as 1800 with no signs of tip burn. But in a 24 hour period the plant drinks about 5ltrs of RO water and the Nutrient PPM spikes and goes through the roof. I have gradually reduced it down and am now running about 1150 and the increase after 24hours of drinking is only slight.
Is this the right way too look at it?
My reasoning is this. If the reservoir remains at a constant, the plant should be taking an equal ratio of nutes to water.
I must admit I am kinda flying by night here with no Hydro experience. If I follow the Advanced Nutrient feeding chart and add 4ml/Ltr of grow/micro/bloom and then 2ml/Ltr of big bud and B52, the PPM is of the chart. So after a few experiments I have concluded that
for all the above nutrients 1ml/ltr is worth about 200ppm

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I am unsure If I should keep going the way i am or just say balls to it and Pump them in at the manufacturers guide.
I will try and get some decent pics up later tonight.

be good all!

I have also had to tie the main stem down to try too keep the heat stress to a minimum. I don't see it as a bad thing as it now lies quite level with all the side branches that have come up!
