Grow #9 and what a journey it's been. I've decided to run 3 autoflowers this round in 5gal fabric pots with a 70/30 mix of coco and perlite. I'll be installing drip irrigation to accompany the auto drain system for the runoff.
Presoaked the seeds in RO for 18hrs, and placed in a paper towel inside a CD case. Placed that in the seedling tray with a heat mat set to 74F. 36hrs later, planted them in jiffy pods and turned the lights on 24/0. After 3 days on the seedling mat, sporadically misting the dome, I placed the jiffy pods in 5gal pots of coco/perlite I prepared a couple days before. (Pre-charged with calcium and magnesium at a pH of 6.0.)
I sprinkled some Mikro Myco underneath the pods and watered about an eighth of a teaspoon of Recharge with 1L of water for the 3 pots. (Before Recharge; pH 6.0, 209EC, RO + calmag) Light schedule from here on out should stay at 18/6.
The plan is to run Floraflex's Autoflower feed schedule with 3 fertigations per day to maintain the desired EC levels. We'll use the calmag as needed.
