Grow #9 and what a journey it's been. I've decided to run 3 autoflowers this round in 5gal fabric pots with a 70/30 mix of coco and perlite. I'll be installing drip irrigation to accompany the auto drain system for the runoff.

Presoaked the seeds in RO for 18hrs, and placed in a paper towel inside a CD case. Placed that in the seedling tray with a heat mat set to 74F. 36hrs later, planted them in jiffy pods and turned the lights on 24/0. After 3 days on the seedling mat, sporadically misting the dome, I placed the jiffy pods in 5gal pots of coco/perlite I prepared a couple days before. (Pre-charged with calcium and magnesium at a pH of 6.0.)

I sprinkled some Mikro Myco underneath the pods and watered about an eighth of a teaspoon of Recharge with 1L of water for the 3 pots. (Before Recharge; pH 6.0, 209EC, RO + calmag) Light schedule from here on out should stay at 18/6.

The plan is to run Floraflex's Autoflower feed schedule with 3 fertigations per day to maintain the desired EC levels. We'll use the calmag as needed.

Equipment:
5x5 tent
AC Infinity Cloudline T6 with controller (Absolute game changer!! My new favorite toy.)
SP3000 and a SF-1000 to supplement during flower
Bucket Company's drainage trays
Oil-filled heater, a humidifier, and a dehumidifier
Oscillating fans
EC meter
Apera pH pen
Magnetic stirrer with 1L beaker
Tent Buddy (Android app for PPFD)

Genetics:
Mephisto's CDLC
Mephisto's Sour Stomper
Ethos' Pluto Cut

Nutes:
Floraflex (V1, V2, B1, B2, Full Tilt)
Homemade calcium acetate
Epsom salt
Drip Clean

Microbes/fungi:
Recharge
Sprinkled some Mikro Myco during pod transplant

Environment:
72-76F
70-73RH
VPD 0.8-0.95
Light height: 33 1/2in, dimmed to 60%. 180-220 PPFD

Last night, day 8, I decided to increase the light to 75%. PPFD reading between 320-340.

Today, day 9, was the first fertigation. I was a little hesitant because Floraflex's feed schedule starts them at 2.1EC day one. So instead, I waited until today to feed. Guess we'll find out quickly if they like it or not..

3 1/2 gallons (2 1/2gal Tap, 1gal RO)
Water - 446EC
+V1/V2 (11g each) - 2010EC
+1/2 tsp of yucca (helps rebound hydrophobic coco)
pH - 5.88

Pots were fully saturated after fertigation with about 1gal runoff. Should be good to start the drip tomorrow. The plan is to start slow, 3-5 fertigation events with runoff coming on the last event. Any recommendations are welcomed, this will be my first go at high frequency fertigation. (More than daily, anyways.)

Loving the automation! This is something I very interested in! I know you mentioned that you were ditching the AutoPots. Is this your 1st run with this setup? I put mine away long enough to get my stash built back up. I'm giving the AutoPots 1 more try, (keeping in mind the things I've learnt), and I'll make a decision after that. Anyways, good luck on your grow and I'm going to watch and learn! :pass:

I've done hand-water drain to waste, and my last run was 3 photos in soil with the drip system installed, but this will be a first with this setup. Let's hope for some big chunky buds. First mephisto run too, gonna be a good one! :vibes:

I waited until 2017, (2 years), before I bought my 1st Mephisto beans. It wasn't that I didn't believe all the hype, but I had purchased a bunch of cheaper beans and I wanted to work on my growing skills before I pulled the trigger on Mephisto. Is the Ethos' Pluto Cut a gassy strain? I know you said you liked the gas like me. I've heard good things about Ethos all over the web, but I wouldn't know where to buy the seeds. :pass:

Pluto Cut isn't a gas strain, but the smell of my last one was incredible; had to pop another one! I'm terrible at describing it, but it was like a sweet floral-incense. Some of the best smelling weed I've ever had; curing it was a delight when I was burping the jars. As for sourcing some quality beans, my go to is North Atlantic Seed Company. Great selection with fast, discreet shipping.

Nice start man I got two cdlcs going and they are a pleasure to grow. They grow fast mine thats alittle over 2 weeks reaks. And i got one in late bud just starting to really pack it on Didnt give me any problems. you wont be disappointed.

I love, and I mean LOVE FloraFlex. I also run coco but do manual feeding. I've found that 2g each of V1 and V2 per gallon once they are old enough really does the trick all the way through veg. I've run it full blast at the 4g each per gallon in veg and felt it was a waste with the autos. I tend to run it full strength-ish in flower, including their Bulky B and really get some fairly massive yields.

The most fruity strain I've grown is Psychofruit by Cream of the Crop and she looks ready to chop in 60 days, but I usually go 70 as I'm a couch lock fan. I ended up with 5x 5 freebie packs after I had a little trouble ordering from Ali-bongo. They were using a new pay system, but I really felt like it was more my fault than theirs. I've grown her at least 5 times and it's a really stable strain. :peace::pass:

Day 11

5 gals added to the reservoir.
Tap water (589EC)
+17.5g each V1/V2 (1891EC)
+2ml Drip Clean (1955EC)

I spilled some of the V2 concentrate mix before getting it to the water, so the EC should be higher, but I'm just rolling with it. I'll be adding 3 more gallons to the reservoir tomorrow.

After running the drip system for 30 mins, CDLC and SS showed run off, and 13 mins later the PC. Trying to dial in 2-3 fertigations a day. At lights on and either 10hrs later or 7hrs then another 7hrs for the 3rd one. Keep in mind, the amount of time we run the drip will decrease the more we water throughout the day, but increase as the plant ages. Trying to find that sweet spot. :toke:
