Lighting To much light?

Yeah i know what ur thinking, but in Scandinavia the electricity doesn't come cheap at all and i'm running a ship with 4X600 with a tenth thats 240X240X200 cm. I will run about 20-25 plants in there the next time and i was thinking maybe its overkill to do 2400 Watt?

I run cool tubes with no extra reflectors or nothing, just plain and simple.

So please what do you say? I really am in the dark here.

Yes....I believe it is a tad of overkill....2 X 600W hps should manage to cover a 240cm X 240cm area well enough.

I would get some reflectors to direct the light down to the plants. That's a lot of light wasted without a reflector to direct it back at your plant if it's just going to the ceiling of your tent.
I don't think it's too much light. You should pull big if you run the rest of the grow right.
That's a good plant count for that tent too.

I run 4 lights (2200) in a tent half that size.
