Too much water?? WTF

I would think you'd have to be in the 90's+ to cause that .

Hey Alex, I wouldn't water her anymore!!! She will recover, but stick her on the far side of the room, put a fan on her and take a drill and pop a few more drain holes in the sides of the bottom of the pot!!! Loose the heating pad man, roots can go further down on temps than the canopy. She is stressed and overwatered!!! If you have to give her anything right now, give her some drainage holes and several days to dry out!!:peace:

Here is a pic for briman of mutant leaf which I had tons of on dwarf plant -

Alex,

That foil you have underneath, is that to catch pollen? If you can use somthing that doesn't reflect the heat, that maybe better.

Just my two cents

Peace

The lights are 25 watt CFL, so very little heat. Plant looks much worse today. Moved to another bucket with drier coir. Root system is very under-devleoped, and leaves seem to be over drying. Really tempted to move it to hydroton, and hand water.

Thanks

I figured out, how I F'ed up. Have been migrating from hydro mindset, and still start plants in rockwool and 3.5 inch netpots with hydroton. Once some roots pop out, move them to coco, and water from the center, since it dries out quickly. Have very good results.

I did an experiment, and did not mark the plant. I filled netpot with coco, and watered like usual. I usually water a plant a little in the center after 2 days, even if it is still a little heavy. That is how I drowned this plant. Would be shocked if it survived.

Moved it to all hydroton tonight, and will hand water. All I want is pollen, which it was just starting to produce.

Thanks for all the help!!!!

I have been wondering if starting hydro, then going coco was best. This failure makes me think it might. Problem is, that if I do side by side tests, they will not be conclusive, since I can not do a good job starting in coir. With hydro, we are anxious to feed. Aero every 7 minutes, DWC constantly, flood and drain every 3 hours.

Hope this helps some, learning from my mistakes.

That is why we fall down....so we can pick our selves back up!!! Spend some time researching choir, and I feel you can get this!!! I wont tell you how many grows i have f*cked up in the past. We are not talking a plant or two, we are talking the whole grow. I attempted to take a stab at dwc a year ago and really paid for it!! I found with being a soil grower for 2 decades, you simply cant just set it and forget it!!! It takes MAD skills to grow in all environments, and YOU can do this!!! I could make dwc work, but I didn't know all the ins and outs. I knew the basic principles, but wasn't dedicated, to up my time in the tent and knowledge base for dwc. If you do a bit of reading/searching here on AFN and talk to the coco guys, you can get it!!!:peace:
