Hi

Just thought Ill ask people out there using LEDs what their top five most important factors of having a successful grow with best results and why

I am pretty new to this so wouldn't mind picking up some tips and advice

Mine are as follows

1. Room Environment (Following Tangs Advice my room is now around 75-85 f with a RH of 35 to 45 percent)

2 Hanging level of lights ( 60cm from plant in veg and 40 cm in flower?)

3. Nutrients ( Following tangs feeding schedule with advance nutrients but using plant magic as my base nutrient with bio biz light mix soil)

4. Amount of Water ( Judging the weight of the pot and its size depending on how much water to give the plant)

5. Air Movement ( Having a 125 in and a 150 out in a room 1.8m by 1.6m? also using a oscaling fan)

Whats your views people and whats important to you?

thanks

Every factor is important but a tube heater is useful with LED to keep temps up and a fan controller. Good luck

I'd say the same thing applies to any grow room, not just using GN LED's.

In terms of ventilation, I have gone from a 6" extraction down to a 4" with it stepped down to level 2 of 5 as there's hardly any heat to deal with. More air flow is beneficial but it's a case of balancing it with noise for me. I bought into the HS1 series to grow in a small space with minimal noise. So far so good!

Yeah but some growers just haven't thought about loss of heat when changing from HID lights.

Myself included mate. I battled with heat from a 600W light last year and now can't bring myself to add a heater to my groom. It just feels so wrong!
