New Grower Topping autoflowers?

i top all my autos, mainly for stealth reasons by keeping them shorter. the yield is not diminished because of smaller but many more colas. i started a thread on this a few days ago. check it out. GL

OR, one could just buy strains that are shorter. There are some great seeds out there that dont get very tall at all, but produce some killer yield and smoke to boot. Like the Russian rocket fuel by Stitch. Just my. Great growing my friend

that's true. i use the northern lights because their low odor means additional stealth. i've heard good things about the RRF!! happy 420. GL

It is worth also noting there be dangers in topping. I topped mine yesterday and accidentally cut into one of the (pair 2) leaves severing it and it fell off. I did my best to avoid that cause I did it last year with photoperiods. Oh well cannot cry over spilt milk, just hope it survives, seems alive today still but the leaves have cannoed probably cause it thinks an animal is trying to gobble it up, poor thing.

I feel like such a noob.

Thanks for the rays of hope there, well today it actually seems ok, canoeing stopped after a full day of proper direct sunshine. I will ensure I treat that one with utmost care and respect from now on to try and make up for it.

The plant in my sig was topped and defoliated. Only the final yeild will tell but so far its looking great.

update

21 days after germination - 14 days after topping - grown 12" in last 7 days - started flowering 2 days ago

i gave it nutes for the first time today. lots of growing going on.

Well the recovery from my topping (which also went wrong and I severed a leaf) seems to be ok. It's recovered well with
5 new growth sites so I think it's gonna be ok at the moment anyway. Time will tell if it flowers in good time or hermies etc. But so far so good !
