Hey everyone i have been gathering info on this site for a long time,and now its time to start growing,thought i would start off with auto flowers after seeing the grow journals(fantastic results guys) my mind was made up as space is at a premium and autos seem to be quite short strains.i have already got canna coco,perlite,digital ph tester,ph up and down,biobizz grow,bloom,max top,calmag.5 gallon fabric pots,1 gallon pots,digital thermometer,light timer.next week my tent,300w mars hydro led,carbon filter,fans,hangers ect all arrive,i am getting excited now.if there is anything else you guys can recommend that i have missed i would really appreciate it.

Looks like your almost sorted have you got calmag because you will definitely need it under LED but other than good luck with your first grow put a link up when you get going will tag along [emoji106]

Thanks for the reply i will defo be doing a grow journal so i can get any tips and tricks or advice if i mess up.

i am more excited now my 3 dutch passion auto white widows and a free auto blue amnesia have arrived,its going to be like waiting for christmas for my tent and other gear to turn up next week

With the CaMg, be sure to check the label. If it has N in the mix, you'll need to account for that when you feed

thanks for that info just checked and it does indeed have nitrogen total nitrogen 2%

yes mate i have 3 dutch passion auto white widows and got a free auto blue amnesia
also just ordered a tds meter so i think i am all set now

. Sounds like you have a plan. I have a few questions to throw out there for you. What is the size of your grow space? Especially your height. I have seen some pretty big DP White Widows. Also, how many plants do you plan on finishing in your grow space.
The first thing I did when I first started was to fill my tent with pots and seedlings. I can fit 8 two gallon smart pots in my tent. I finished with 3 of the 8. The rest had to be culled to make room for the three that were doing the best. So I wasted 5 feminized seeds. Not fun. Now I only grow two plants to finish in that tent.....but I did buy another tent so I could grow more . So space management is something to consider.
Something else to consider. Height can kill your best grow. Have a plan ready just in case you get a large pheno. Whether it be LST or any other forms of training. Also consider how far your light is going to hang and how much headroom your filter will take up.
I thought I would be fine with a 2'×4'×5' tent until I had a "Yoda's Dragons Breath" decide she wanted to be 4' tall. Gave me a good reason to buy another tent though . My five foot tent is only good for about 3' of plant height after figuring in pot height and light hang plus distance between top of canopy and light. I now have one tent that is 7' tall and I can extend it to 8' if the need arises. I wish I would have known that auto's could be that awesome and that even I could grow something that nice. I would have made sure to either buy taller tents to begin with or pay more attention to training methods. And just to let you know, DP has great genetics and a White Widow in a 5 gal pot has great size potential. So just be prepared.
