AK is great, only thing I miss from the lower 48 is The Colorado Elk. I spent a few seasons around Craig CO.

Yeah, I bow hunt elk in my backyard...literally. Our property butts up against National Forest with no public access

We left a game camera on a carcass that remained after field dressing and hauling out...it caught 4 bears, 2 Lynx,
a Mountain Lion, 2 Weasels, a Golden Eagle, a Bald Eagle and a Redtail Hawk. Can't wait for Spring Turkey...I can
already hear the hens putting and bopping back there

Although I will say that the Moose I had up there in AK was on par with Elk...both fantastic.

dude that's WAY cool. I use a game camera round here but Colorado wildlife and country is gorgeous

Yeah, it's crazy...more species than a zoo back there

During rifle season, late at night, you can hear herds of elk
clopping around on the dirt roads around the neighborhood... LOL!
They get pressured into private from a couple miles above.

you got mountans close by? when I lived in Nevada man we go rock climbing every weekend in the summer.. it was so cool to hike up to the lakes and just kick back and smoke and fish..i think im gonna plan a ride to Colorado this summer. spend a couple days up there. I got an old buddy that lives in parker..
