On a more positive note....widowbomb is doing well...packing on some dense flower for location....here is to hoping thats not a bad thing!! Fuck bud....all I can do is laugh. Harsh season for me grow brothers!! Gonna be a crazy ending to the season....you guys ever see a snow coated monster? Good chance this will be the year!!

Only place this strain would be non-highest maintenance during late bloom is one of those HEPA filtered, clean room dressed employee's greenhouses... someplace where no spores are present,.. they are literally everywhere, all the time, outside! ..... GS, your mate that had a successful Big Bomb grow up there, i wonder that he got super lucky with the strain and maybe weather conditions..?
.... Snow bud! .... good to hear about Widow Bomb,.. I think WW is a pretty hardy strain,... which makes me think the Chemdawg or THC Bomb is the weak link in Atomic's parentage,.. sure as shit isn't the "Emerald triangle " Kush!

My bro did the big bomb 2 seasons in a row and one of them was a harsh wet cold fall, and he had similar results both seasons....the parts that blows me away is i have always found Big Bud genetics to be very, very poor against mold(pretty sure big bomb is Big Bud X Bomb [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG]?), and his did so superb that i figured that other bombs would be good against mold as well!!
Honestly i am hoping for the best with widowbomb...ive had problems before with widow crosses...usually when they finish early enough i can get away with them, but later preflowering widows often turn to shit. Fortunately the plant is directly under a huge overhanging maple tree that doesnt block any sun but does stop frost and heavy dews which are daily(live in a valley)

..I'm digging more on WW,.. maybe not the best for OD/cooler climates, so color me all the more puzzled!.... yes, i recall you mentioning Big Bud as not very hardy in such climates,...

One thing is for sure bud.....we are gonna have a fairly legit comparison. Dinafems Blue Widow and Widowbomb are both around the same flower stage and nearly the same preflower date as well. Locations are similar, but widowbomb gets another hour of light. Honestly if blue widow(not as much overhead cover as widowbomb to shield nightly dew, plant is wet until 2pm every day unless its really windy) does okay, and the widowbomb fails, i will not recommend any of their strains for outdoor, big bomb included.

Ive run hmmmmm 3-4 different breeders Big Bud crosses(including 2 that were pure BC Big Bud) and had mold problems nearly across the board. Giant fairly dense buds...goes with the territory a bit i guess. The one that did well had giant semi-fluffy buds

No way this is an outdoor strain. Indoors it performs well. From one seed, I grew 5 plants, 4 indoors and I liked it very much. I took 2 seeds from my mix up surprise box - I am pretty sure both are THC Bombs. In the tent they are awesom, with the biggest indica leaves you can imagine.

Yeah damn bud...its quite a disappointment. I am still crossing fingers and hoping for a miracle on mine. All i know is at the first sign of mold i am taking her down.

I forcus on looking after the 2 plants on the balcony. No hope for Atomic now. I watch for mold on the El Fugo del Shiva x Orange Assault and are ready to chop. At first sign of mold, it all goes in the freezer. I honestly don't think they will finish outside. For my next photo run indoors, I'll repeat efdsxoa and grow other strains developed by or given me as gifts from @tobe. Among other things, he gave me Gorilla Glue [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG]. I smoked yesterday. Top notch!
