Nearly there. Day 66 of flowering. I’m giving them until day 70. One could come down now but the other two need a few more days of plain water.

Frosty drying Blues.

Having my first real try of properly dried DiscoBiscuit and Blues today. It’s the purple “horn” pheno of DB and the short stocky Blues in the pics in the previous post.

Oh my. Very very nice indeed! I have to say I am absolutely chuffed! [emoji3]

Both are extremely frosty and very strong. The Blues leaves some room for getting stuff done, the DiscoBiscuit is really strong indica that leaves me pretty powerless against extreme laziness [emoji23]

I have to say the Disco is supremely medicinal for me! I get bad anxiety, stress, etc and the DB just knocks it all for six. I feel like nothing is going to stress me out or make me anxious. Pretty much no sativa type hit in the DB, just pure calming, mellow but extremely strong indica. Yum.

The Blues is also quite heavy but way more hybrid / balanced than the Disco. This pheno of Blues is also really good for my anxiety and doesn’t give me any weird feeling in my chest. Strains that make me anxious I can feel in my chest as sort of butterflies? If that makes sense. None of that here. I did get a bit of that off the other Blues which was the fruity cheesy one.

Anyway! Eyes are failing me so I’ll shut up [emoji23]

So far I have taken down three including the smallest and have over 3.5 large glass jars full. So I reckon I may well be on course to match my 12 oz target [emoji106]

DiscoBsicuit tastes and smells very much of fuel mate, with some sort of marzipan maybe? The flat stank of fuel/diesel when it was drying! It was the least smelly in flower, so looking forward to see what the other ones are like Also it's without doubt the frostiest oiliest weed I've grown so far. I picked the buds off two small stalks by hand and got half a spliff of finger hash! And just putting it in jars left a lovely little pile of dry sift on the paper

Short stocky Blues tastes of slightly cheesy sour berries. Smells the same I think. Also a lot of skunk in there. Old school skunky with a bit of hash maybe. Not much cheese smell, just a touch

The cheesy fruity Blues with the shit roots is much more cheesy. Sweet, fruity cheese. But it's a bit too cheesy for me in that it gives me a bit of the anxiety feeling in my chest.

No cure so far remember so I reckon things will get even better in a couple of weeks.

Also of the three left in the tent, one still smells of Durban Poison, one has tiny buds but they've turned almost strawberry red, and the last one is really pale with frost and some nice stacking calyxes

Mate I just had a good whiff on a little bit of DB that’s been curing for a few days. I can smell fuel, a hint of lemon and some sort of slightly sweet biscuit/cake/marzipan type aroma! So all the classic ingredients of OG Kush mixed with biscuits. Nice [emoji3]

I can’t wait to try the one that smells of Durban Poison, but I haven’t even taken a sample bud. Just gonna take it all on day 70.
