Yo all to UK's , ( and no offence meant to ALL American's , as we do accept you've bin doing it longer than us ) But why is it that there is no UK supply'r of Sunleaves Bat and Seabird Guano's,,,,,,,,,:dunno:

Ta for your quick reply La' but have looked at them and in a Org, situation they are just manufactured Org's like BIO,s(and the they don't have the N.P.K. that I;m looking for) . With lookin at All the amazin Grow's that the Yank's grow on there Compost Tea recipe's all have the so called 'Sun' brand ingrediants, (yes can't spell) .. As a Newbie to Org's myself too, (when I get interested in something I like to achive the best out of my input,,) But sometimes that achievement does, need a little push in the right direction,.

No Worries PodMan

I'm gonna leave a message for some organic expert buddies to come and take a lookin for you. They'll definately be able to guide you!

Hmmm,... gonna have to pass this up the chain, mate....Do let us know the N-P-K numbers you're looking for, as this will help us find equivalents that are available in the UK,... could be Sun brand just isn't available out there, but others are....? Have you had luck looking for other brands? GA numbers will vary with specific sources, but I gather it's N heavy or P heavy poops you're after, right? I'll ring a few doorbells here, and see what I can scare up....:tiphat:

Howdy dude,

Always head straight for Amazon, they usually have most things you'll need. They have the Bat but not the Bird guano but only in 2.2lb bags...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sunleaves-J...id=1392488756&sr=8-1&keywords=sunleaves+guano

I use the Plagron Bat Guano which you'll be able to pick up in smaller batches.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plagron-1L-...=1392489021&sr=8-2&keywords=Plagron+bat+guano

I haven't used any bird guano yet though so unfortunately I can't help there.

Hope that helps :)

:tiphat: No problem dude hope your okay :) :Sharing One:

Podman, call your local nurseries and suppliers as well,... if you haven't already!

Haha, I worked at a local plant nursery for last years season and when I started I asked if they stocked or could get any bat guano they just looked at me like I was starting to lose my marbles and said 'Bat guano, what the hell do you want that for? What does that do??'
Give them a poke and try but your best bet will be the local Hydro shop. Everyone's got a local shop, it's just a case of finding it, they're usually well out sight, miles away from anywhere. A quick google search will help you track one down if you've not already found one, and most will deliver.

Just a heads up, PodMan, my understanding is that Sunleaves no longer offers seabird guano (maybe because of the eco-negatives with harvesting it? :dunno:)
For a tea, used on auto's, maybe composted chicken poo would do the trick. Less N and P, for sure, but you're still organic, getting good trace elements, and should be able to adjust your N values with the bat guano.
Remember that the N in tea will be more available than if mixed in soil, so the N value (quick vs slow) between seabird and domestic fowl guano might give similar results after a couple of days brewing. That's a guess on my part... I'll look into it further.
