VAPORISER NAME: Vapman

TYPE OF VAPORISER (home or portable): Portable

DRAW METHOD (whip, bag, attached mouthpiece or drawn direct from unit):- Drawn direct from unit through a mouthpiece, manually heated element by butane torch lighter

COMPATIBLE MATERIAL : Herb

COST: 90 for basic, 130 for complete

http:// http://torontovaporizer.ca/vapman-vaporizer.html

ACCESSORIES : Butane torch lighter and a high quality grinder are essential

QUALITY OF VAPE : extremely high, taste is pure and true, thickness of Vape plume is dependent on dryness off herb and how user applies torch, for quick sessions I heat the element quite high for thick plumes otherwise it is a gentle airy plume for most cases

AMOUNT OF TIME OWNED: 9 months

PERSONAL THOUGHTS : This is what I'd call a connoisseur Vape. The taste and flavour is excellent. It takes some trial and error to get the hang of using the butane torch but is very gratifying and intimate user experience. I use my solo while doing chores and day to day vaping but I bust this out when I wanna get in touch with my herb.

Nice review, Gilly! Sounds like the Vapman is like the MFLB in that it's not necessarily the easiest to master, but once you do it's something you can really appreciate.

For sure, very gratifying user experience, plus playing with a butane torch is fun

Both are almost like pieces of art, very high attention to detail

Glad you enjoyed Andy!

Over 2 months late with the pics but here she is lol

Real small unit, that's a standard size grinder in the last pic. Real fun to use!

Salutations Darth Vapour,

It takes only a fair amount of eye-training to recognize valuable qualities in the VapMan, both in terms of esthetics and conception judging from what we can read and see, or in any case there's beauty when complex things seem resolved in such relatively simple ways. Hummm... I mean, at least in appearance... For example the way aerial paths combine, how a fraction of the heat gets temporarily stored/delayed while the cannabic bowl and load are pre-heating, materials selection and even some notions of thermodynamics perhaps.

In one single word: clever! :wiz:

If i'm not mistaken trying to interpret this old picture, it's mixing a bit of fresh convective heat with hot conductive/radiative heat, etc... One look suffices to understand there's going to be a reason for every detail!

:clapper:

M'well, i once had an opportunity to hold the VapMan Basic in my hands so i'll just say it felt quite valid as a candidate. My regret is this: the price-tag suggested it's even more profitable to work as an intermediary than to actually produce something!... In other words i left it on the counter because somehow the cost had been exagerated, somewhere on its way to Montréal/Qc, Canada... Anyway i eventually discovered a few months later that i might also have needed to shop around for a water accessory; the thing is, at the time i prefered to avoid glassware and similar, etc., so it later became necessary for me to deal with the conditioning problem otherwise. Long story.

Ah, and as i think of it here's one of those features the VapMan proved to be most inspiring/resourceful about:

11trdyh.jpg

This is quite interesting as a simple/convenient technology because it really adds to the cannabic cloud by substraction of body material (e.g. via a "PinHole")! It most likely works wonders here too considering i've applied that trick to my customized VG pipe and there's no doubt in my mind that's more beneficial to try it than not...

Finally, i appreciated the mention by @AndyBotwin relatively to the MLFB as it reminded me of this other scenario:

It's not going to be as quick as it could have been using electro-magnetic induction but that's a type of vaporism which ain't as much about the amount of power that can be output, and at what rate (trying to implement thermostatic behaviour...), than it is effectively related to what amount of energy a cannabic load can absorb while avoiding over-heating (the later event resulting in hot/roasted spots, not to mention possibly combustion). Hence it feels safe to assume this is best suited in pulsed-mode, with less baking between tokes and an opportunity to quit the session anytime - a Harm Reduction aspect that also promotes aroma/taste, thanks to a time-compressed experience i suspect... Etc., etc.

:pop:

The consumption method doesn't provide it's own self-moisturization conditioning as a VaporGenie does but it certainly has an edge when compared to what i view as slow "ovenizers" exposing to heat for long minutes at once - which in my book sounds quite like "baking" for all i know... In a VapMan baking would be nearly simultaneous to burning and this is a very different dynamic with its own set of implications. The need for proper training, for example.

:shooty:

In any case expect the VapMan ritual to offer a rich organic dimension compared to typical electricity-powered machines.

Good day, have fun!!
