Lighting Venturing into LED territory soon. Need help.

Topled Ufo with the 3watters would be better than the 2 watters ebay crap ufos. Or the Vipar 180w Ufo is also good.I use a 180 w Topled in the small Tent and it works out only when it gets colder i might need the extra cfl in there for the heating.

I'm using a Topled UFO 180 watt in my veg cabinet. It's lighting a 2'x2'x5' ( 60x60x152 cm ) and it lights it perfectly. My young plants are loving it a growing nicely I used short pieces of light chain and s-hooks to mount it within a few inches of the top of the cabinet. I have a 2" intake hole and a 4" computer case fan for exhaust. With the cabinet closed tight ;last night, temps in there this morning were 84F ( 28.8 ) I'm going to cut another intake hole, but the temps were still withing reason.

Get a 180 watt UFO, it would be a perfect size for your area.

Yeah thats what Im doing..watching n reading n seeing ppl's grows with LED's cuz when I get mine I wanna do four on a single cable on an electric winch so the whole ceiling is a light unit essentially in a 5 foot square tent that should make for some awesome grows.but thats a looong ways away.But cant wait to see your grows Neko under your new light(s) ,that should be pretty killer dude!!

Hey guys. Was in the middle of replying early, then had sudden company. FINALLY, now I can get back to what I was trying to do earlier lol.

You guys are amasingly helpful man. Im pretty sure Ill probably go with some sort of UFO.

Hey Pop22. Do you think 2 180 watt UFO's 2-3 watt would be good. Or overkill? I can totally do 1 ufo/CFL combo. I have a 250CFM inline intake exhaust fan for ventilation.

I think 2 of the 180's would work great! most of the good ones come with 3 watt chips now, The only ones I've seen with 2watt chips have been used ones. Topled and Vipar both sell good units and the prices are good! I got mine on Ebay for $74 U.S. shipped!
