Lighting Vipar LED The Manual.

All sounds very encouraging.. can't wait til this panel arrives now as temps are hitting 33 in there at times.. plants seem to be doing well all the same but I'll feel a lot more confident in the whole grow if I can bring the temps down to somewhere in the 'normal' range

you could always add more intake areas, or even another fan to use as an intake? Something else i used to do is have a large fan blowing directly above my plant, directing the hot air to the side and top of the tent where the extractor was.

But yeah, the LED will definitely reduce ur temps by maybe 8C-10C from a 400W hps

They will really enjoy the new temps, it also helps to keep down the difference between the dark and light or "night" and "day" temps as you probably know. a 20 degree swing (f) will tend to anger them where a 10 degree swing (f) makes them happy if you know what I mean. I don't really know the celcius equivalent, and I apologize.

Lookin good gadget :) patiently waiting for my LED panel to arrive here.. tracking says its out for delivery.. I'll post an update when I get it up and running

Can you guys give me an idea of how far you are setting your LED panel from the plants?? With the 400w HPS i'v just been using the hand test and getting as close as I can.. seems from what i've read that LEDs are kept a bit further away from the ladies??

Once it's done being a little seedling I keep them about 15" to 17" from the top of the canopy but with 2 panels I'm angling them for fairly even top to bottom coverage at about 14".

Mines probably about the same height as Bilbo is talking about although these are photo plants from clones and they were about 1' tall before introduced the LED and were already quite strong. They did grumble just a little bit but go over it pretty fast. I think it will be different with every manufacturer and every wattage/spectrum light.
