Lighting Vipar LED The Manual.

It's actually quite easy but that might just be if you know how! It looks like only your blues have blown, maybe a problem with the driver for that spectrum causing it.

If you ring them it's much easier to arrange things btw, they are pretty knowledgeable and really helpful. Bear in mind that if you try and fix it yourself with replacements they send do get it in writing that you can break the warranty seal :)

Hey man, I just checked out your grow, really like your grow box. Can you take a pic of that light in normal light setting? Does it use reflectors? It looks a bit like this model:

This of course looks a lot like the LG model that TopLED and others sell, but seems newer with different bulb spectrum, and is labeled 'Vipar' on some websites.

Can you include any of the specific details that were included with the light? I'm pretty interested in this model.

The Vipar panels aren't actually rebadged other brands, they get them built to order from China, not sure if it's a Chinese company with outlets in the UK/US but I read somewhere about their R&D department being based in China. May be why they seem to keep up with what Apache and A51 are doing with LED's in the US but obviously in a much cheaper form :)

These are the new COB/Reflector C Series 5w panels http://stores.ebay.co.uk/VIPAR-LED-...4943819&_sid=1117617209&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322

The slight difference from the pic you posted is that the Vipars use conical reflectors to concentrate the beam and that panel uses the square reflectors.

The spectrums covered are Blue(430~440nm,450~475nm) Red(620~630nm, 650~670nm) Warm White(3000k~3500k) And Pure White(6000k~9000k), the main reason I got Vipar(apart from the costs and importing problems) was that they cover up to 670nm red and have the pure white.

Anyway, comprehensive details for all the different series are on the ebay shop listings, peace out!

Awesome plant Faded! I can't believe there are still people out there who swear LED's are a joke. All they need to do is take one look at your pic.

Just curious faded, did you ever use the same light without cfl's? Reason I ask, is I was going to supplement with CFL but not for more watts, just more light spectrum. If so did you see a noticable (and worthy) change in how the plants reacted? Also what spectrum on the CFL (blue red etc.)

thanks guys. what up gadgetguy,in veg I ran the led with 2 5000k 32w cfls for 2 plants in a 3x2 area and in flower 4 32w 2700k. when there in heavy flower like she is its hard to get the led to cover the 3x2 area as close to the plants as I like to run it. yes in flower I notice the difference cuz I run my cfls like 2 inchs from my colas all the way around with 2 fans on em but not so much in veg.what I want to do is get 2 more 300w vipars.1 for top and 1 for each side and just run 1 super auto but I don't know, will see.i still got a 32 day old maxi haze that's gonna get all the light and attention startin tomorrow, which is good cuz she been neglected lately u know her big sisters and all.

Ok, I was thinking of adding two 125w cfls with the bat wings to my grow in a 2'x4' tent for some more spectrum just for giggles, they seem cheap to run as well. May even hang them from the sides and angle them toward the canopy. May even hang T5's vertically on each wall lol.

Thanks for the response, that helps me a lot.

dude if you can add 2 12w cfls with hoods and keep ur temps low.yull grow some bomb ass buds bro
