Lighting Vipar LED The Manual.

Cant wait to see your results bro I'm hearing a lot about Vipar but I'm not seeing anything to compare to the GN beasts.

I'm looking forwards to seeing how the c series does but it'll take a lot to beat the GN's on anything but price.

Even if I got a full refund on all 3 of my Vipars (£350) I'd still need to find an extra £150+ to buy a couple of the Ms0006's. I'm still cheap though so I'd end up buying 2 Vipar Cobs and save £200 :)

I can't wait either. Once I get the heat problem sorted I'll be able to fire all 3 lights up. I'm buying an intake fan and some ducting soon to see if that solves it

Got a new C500 vipar a few weeks ago. Plants been outside in a good scottish summer, 4ft tall but skinny. 3 weeks now under the vipar and its slow growing on 12/12 considering they're autos planted june 1st! The c500 is not what I'd call bright though it's my first led.

Welcome to AFN bro!

Sorry it took so long to answer mate, I just noticed your post.

Couple of questions; How many plants have you got under that panel? It's only about 250 watts true so don't expect to bloom many under it.
Why are you running auto's at 12/12? You should be running at least 18 hours of light a day although personally I like at least 22 hours of light a day.

Yeah why do you have them on 12/12?

I just received my two Vipar 675watt 5wchip led panels. I am very impressed with the build quality of these lights. They are heavy and sturdy. They look damn cool as well, 2 big fans cool the modular style lights. Each mod has its own large heatsink! For the price this baby looks bad ass. Gana fire em up tomorrow to check the brightness, will post some pics.

Nice one GB, can't wait to see them in action!

I will be using my vipar for one of my grows soon so will be able to compare with my MS006. Ive had the vipar unit for ages just havn't had a chance to use it other than use it for additional light.

They've got a nice big COB out now and a little one :)
