Old Reviews Want to get my first vaporiser

There are many, many options available to you!

Portables: Arizer Solo, Pinnacle Pro with water tool
I have both of those and recommend them highly!!

Desktop: HerbalAire, Silver Surfer, Buddha, Extreme Q
Again it depends on what you want.
The HerbalAire is a very efficient extractor, i love mine! Very easy to pair with a water tool.

I am not sure if any Log vapes are still made in the UK, they are most likely the most efficient vapes out there.
Also look up vaporizing forums in the UK and see what is popular or has good ratings!

I really like my magic flight.. A lot different to most portable vapes i have seen. Works a treat, 15sec heat time and you are good...

I have however never used a volcano or other 'big' plug in vapes so im not the best for comparison.. But the flight does the job nicely, still quite a bit of smell which was disappointing, but the tastes it gives are amazing.. (down to the bud rather than vape i guess)

Haven't saw a few of those. I have used a volcano. Its a big home unit but yeah it is the rolls of the vapes in quality and price

Another option in portables - is the Iolite - but it really depends on how (and where!) you'll mostly be using your portable.

Compared to battery operated portable vapes, its not all that stealthy. It could easily be mistaken for a cell phone at a quick glance - but once its fired, anyone within 15'-20' is going to know its not a cell phone - as it uses purified butane to heat up the chamber, and that isn't a quiet process.

However - it you're not planning on stealth-vaping within a few feet of people you don't want to know what you're up to - then its a tough unit to beat.

I use mine for outside activity (fishing, hiking, boating, mountain biking, camping) - and love the fact that it will never run out of battery charge before my day (or weekend) in the woods is done. If it runs out of butane (and I haven't yet managed to do that in a single day) - a 5 second refill from a small butane can, will keep it running for another couple of days.
Using purified butane, rather than a cheap department store brand (I use Colibri) - it ignites the first time, every time - and there is almost no smell of burnt butane that I can detect (and no taste of butane at all).

I've used mine in temps from 35 Celsius down to 0 Celsius - and never had a problem (it also makes a pretty good hand warmer when you're session is finished - though mine has never been too hot that I couldn't put it right back into it's case and back into my pack-sack, when I've finished hitting it).

I read a lot of reviews before I purchased mine, and noted that most of the folks that had issues with theirs cited a problem with the initial ignition.

After using my Iolite for a bit, I'd bet that most of those problems could have been resolved by following the included instructions. The ignition button must be pushed slowly - if its pushed in quickly, it will often fail to ignite the butane - but I've fired mine up literally hundreds of times, now - and never had a failure when I've pushed the ignitor slowly.

I'll unhesitatingly give my Iolite a full five stars after 6 months of use.

One issue with the volcano is that it is a one trick pony!
If you like bags, then it is perfect!

That is why i like my HerbalAire, it can do whip, bag or i can connect it to a water tool!

For me variety is great!
For big groups a bag or whip is awesome and most of my buddies like using water tools!

For use at home I have an Extreme Q vaporizer and it's great. It can do bags or you can use a whip. It seems to be very efficient, a small amount goes a long way, at least for me.

When I'm out I like to use the Puffit. It looks like an inhaler, which makes it very stealthy. It also heats up quickly, around 30 seconds or so. However, I would not like to have it as an only vape as I don't think it's that efficient. The taste is also not as nice as the EQ.

Another option to look into is the davinci portable. I don't own one myself but it's supposed to be really nice.

imagesCAADKMQ7.jpgimagesCA2RAHRM.jpgYou may want to check out the Iolite. Fueled by 5x Butane. I have two of them plus the PUFFiT.
The cost is reasonable. In fact they have gone down in price.

Thanks for all the replies guys, have got lots to have a look at and think about now,

thinking gas might be better than batteries as i will be using it mainly at work (on a fishery) where we dont have great access to electricity to keep recharging it.

For a home unit i think being able to do more then one thing (bag/whip) would be better.

Thanks again

Pax by ploom is THE portable vape!!!! Hands down, no bull Sh*t!!! Check out all the reviews and see for your self. there are more cheaper protables out there, but this one hits like a freight train and I am ordering it very soon. I have spent several hours reading reviews and vids. This does only dried herbs.

Like mentioned earlier portables aren't quite there yet so I would get the home unit first, you will be suprised how much you use it.

Highly suggest you go with Da Buddha like you have been thinking, if you don't want to get fancy with the Silver Surfer versions both from 7th Floor and have used both alot(Da Budda 3 years and counting now) and they vape soo hard and Da Buddha is great value for money, built like a brick!

I also had the Extreme Q which can hit almost as hard but IMO it isn't as "pure" taste as the air flow runs through the unit where as Da Buddha contains the electronics and what not seperated from your air flow.

BTW the Extreme Qs Bag fills quite slow
Good luck with your choosings, I will sub to this so let us all know If/What you get:smokebuds:
