Old Reviews Wanting to step up my bubble game!

I use three of those pumps called Whisper designed for aquarium use. They are sold at Walmarts and give enough bubbles for my three Rubermade totes. I use one pump for each tote I think they hold 8 gallone to the level I use them at. The size of the pump says it is for 60 gallon aquariums. They have smaller pumps but I went for the largest one they carry. Apparantly Whisper does have a pump for 1-- gallon aquariums but my local Walmart does not carry that size. None of the three of them have failed on me and they bubble along well enough to give good grow results in my totes.

The three of them are side by side and don't make much noice at all but they are not silent. The pumps make as much noise as the bubbles they release into the totes. It is a very relaxing small noise to me and would never interfere with sleep although they are not in my bedroom.

what kind of pump are u using? i need something very silent if i got something. right now is use (2)7.5L/min in my buckets

I'm also building bubble systems to run next to my aero buckets. the 70 l/per minute pump is the one i just bought off ebay after a day of reading on the best possibilities. large round air stones or 2 of the fish type per bucket is also recommented. I kick my own ass for not just going all bubbles, but if this auto thing is not what i expect, its back to clones and a flow table. I have 30 seeds for photo, BB, BG, and some white. to start around the room during the experment with the atuos. when the autos are done, the mothers will be ready to sex and clone. I'll be adding lights as i go and see how the LED works compared to the MH/HPS so i'll know which lighting to add as these grow. small room (8x10) but pinning the mothers against the wall and adding the lights above the main lights it should work out. good luck on your new bubbler system!!

I saw an avatar this one guy had that was a pump underwater (like in the bucket) that had 2 air hoses going to it (or maybe one air hose and a power line), when it started, it looked like a cloud was forming in the water, like maybe a small impeller was chopping up air bubbles into a mist and spraying the air mist into the water, which would be freaking awesome because the bubbles don't really do anything until they reach the surface and pop. Does anyone know what type of pump this is?
