Hi growers!
Thought i'd do a proper intro before posting.
Been smoking the flower for over 40 years and never thought of growing my own but legalisation and governement taking monopole where i live got me going.
Plants are now 8 days old in a 4x2 tent with filter and exaust fan, 2x viparspectra 300 w each and also got myself pretty much all those little things you need,thanks Amazon.Started right away with Canna bcoco coir and GH nutrients.
Altough i 've read and read about growing,there,s still 1000 new grower questions i need to ask. Did some searches here and others forums but still need somemore infos.
I don't want to clutter all the board with my questions so will try to keep it in the same newbie thread.
I need help with well water questions...Looking forward to your help guys...and girls!

Thanks for the welcome guys!
Here is my first question.I live on a lake and have a well.My water,after the softener is already at 315 ppm.So far, after 8 days out of the ground,i've only used demineralized water because of that.I tried to mix a gallon of well water and after adding GH trio and Cal-Mag my PPM were up near 700 and which i think is too much ppm for seedlings.Using feeding chart of another website...(Before i found this knowledge center!).Also tried to adjust PH on that mix and it seems to me it tooks a lot of PH down to take it from 7.5 to 6. Does well water need more PH down to adjust? (I maybe totally off on that one as a beginner.Didn't have to use PH down so far as using demineralized water with GH and CM i get 5.95 and 420 ppm!)
Thinking of el-cheapo RO systems...or using my well water with 315 ppm is ok?

As for strains,i started a Northern Lights(cause i read that they were easy to grow for beginners),a White Shark and a Auto-critical/fast bud.All seeds are from I49 in Canada.
Only problem is i forgot wich one is wich...
