I wanted to add some light to my small room without adding much heat. I found this on ebay this weekend and for the price and dimensions of it (perfect for my use) I ordered it.

I mean wth - $130 with free shipping for 400W!

Should I even open up the box or send it back?

What do you think?

Hi blessed

Actual power draw is 200W approx.

spectrum looks ok

It doesn't have reflectors of secondary lenses, to reflect lost light or focus it.

It is a good price and will grow you some bud.

Not entirely sure why you ordered it or why you might want to send it back, you haven't supplied any details?

Impulse buy?

Details of your grow space, temps and what you already using to light your space would be handy , before giving advice as to what is and what is not needed.

Give as many details as you can, so people can give you the advice you need.

peace bro

Hello blessed bro how you been? I say If its perfect for u I say use it bro. I'm amazed at what some of the cheaper LEDs are capable of, I think the only high risk you take with cheaper LEDs is that it might go out on you sooner that advertised. But if its the right wattage and spectrum for you I say there no reason for you to send it back and yes $130 for a 400w led is a rare find nice grab!

No such thing as buyers remorse. It should be called owners remorse!! It is your call, blessed! I would fire that thing up and rock some plants with it! If it turns out to be a dud, use it to grow some lettuce or something, but at that price, I say fire that sh*t up!

Thanks guys!

Arte the reason is that I want more sugar on my babies! I have a small room 7' X 7" or so. I am currintly using in that room a 420W inda-gro. The 420 has been working quite well, but I wanted to add more light to see if I can better buds. The inda-gro does put some heat, so decided against a 2nd one. Today it is like 80 outside and that room got up to 87 F today. It will also give me more spectrum overall. I did see that it was actually a 200 W but I am not worried about that all.

I will set it up when I get it and see what happens! The current grows are looking awesome!

Dude, your current and past grows have been awesome!! You have your stuff dialed in!! Side note, Mills pays the bills!! That stuff is so simple and I am lovin the results!! Thanks for the heads up on it!!

Thanks for the props. When I took a sample of the Moby Dick and only had 11.5% THC I was so bummed. When you loupe them they are so covered with trichs. So.. put some more light in. But it will be fun to add the other light and it will be at least a 50% increase in light at the least. It can't hurt!

I LOVE Mills. Did I write you that it would be best at 3 weeks Start R, 4 of C4 and 3 weeks of PK?

yeah. you gave me that feed schedule. That's the schedule I'm running on the dope seeds grow. I am adding AN carboload and H&G roots excellerator with it. Might go 3/3/3 weeks this run, I'm running out of room in my tiny tent!! Have a bigger tent on the way, but am out of room as we speak!!

You don't need to use Excellerator - that is what the StartR does. I can't believe my babies are three weeks in already so time to start the C-4!

I have the new light in place. This thing is bright for sure. I would love to get a light meter to see what it produces in lumens and par compared to the induction light. Yeppi!!!

Here is the light!

lights.jpgAlong with the Inda-Gro 420. It really brightens up the room. It is a simple light with no switching from veg to flower. It's all the lights all the time. Red/Blue/White bulbs. It is fairly quiet, kind of like the computer fan running. I'm pretty stoked for $120!
