Well. Things are going downhill fast

They definitely got pretty dry a few times, I work a lot so it can really catch me by surprise.. I used to water a lot more frequently but with less water and that seemed to do a lot better for me, I may go back to that.

For anyone using the ph & moisture meter, what moisture numbers are acceptable before its “too dry” ? It took over a month to show Up so I haven’t been using it for all that long, just curious

... this late in the game there's not much you can do,... I did mention that MC alone is inferior for flowering, too much N, not enough P... this is bears out with what many other MC users here have discovered,.. it's a nice try at an all-in-one nute, but IMO it misses the mark during bloom,... Most use some sort of PK booster, something more balanced in even ratios of P:K, and use BE (very K heavy) as a finish nutes, reducing the MC amount in kind....
I still see severe P defc., and some other mixed symptoms that are well muddied together now, but P screams the loudest,....pH is good, so that's a real plus, you aren't locked out by that,... BUT my worry now is that maybe the medium is really nute (salt) loaded, and you may have a different type of lockout, uptake issues... this would explain why she wiggs out when you feed here, yet still shows defc.,.. a real PITA I understand! Don't sweat to hard on that, past a point, it's damn difficult to "fix" this late into things, best you can do is slow the decay so that she finished decently,.. beside, crappy looking leaves always make matters look worse,..I've had some U-gly bare-assed dogs go face first over the finish line, but still produced nice buds,...
Amnesia, how long does she have yet? A flush may not be a bad idea, but testing the run-off for pH and especially EC/TDS to see if this overload salt build up is behind all this,.. if you get huge #'s, 1800+ ppms then you may have the answer there,...
Fabric pots are great, the tight ball is a good sign actually, and it did what it's supposed to, "air prune" the tips and prevent winding and binding along the edges that you get in plastic pots, and force more lateral root growth,...
Roots is good soil,... if you can find it, Royal Gold King's Mix is excellent, but pretty light and fast drying... it's my current fav! Promix, Sunshine are peat based soilless blends, very low in nutes so you need to start feeding weakly by week 1,...
ahh, the dry pockets- the fix there is to use a wetting agent 1-2x weekly, which will allow far better penetration and absorption.. sometimes soil dries so badly it become slighty hydrophobic,.. wetting agents overcome this by taking the surface tension out of the solution,, they are also critical for proper foliar spraying as well, allowing more even coating and sticking, vs. beading up.... I like Coco-Wet best, inexpensive, organic, a clear soap-like liquid,....lots of choices out there, but it's "soapy/sudsy" nature makes for great penetration though bitchy soil/coco, etc......

@Waira thanks for the reply, I’m jotting down notes as we speak. Just curious what moisture levels you consider dry or too dry using that accurate 8 probe. In the short time I’ve had it anytime I’ve seen the moisture reading at 2 or under I watered and or fed, just wondering how you use it.

Also how often do you check the plant? The probe is pretty thick and It makes a hole when it goes into th dirt so I wanted to make sure that using it once a day or even every other day wasn’t too much for th plant

:smoking:.... well, for the moisture part of it, try making up a small pot of your medium, nice and well moistened; take reading or 2,... as it dries, daily, take readings and see how the numbers correspond with the moisture levels,.. I don't really use the mm part of the A8 much, but it does come in handy now and again,.. Ifind the number ratings to be kinda iffy personally,... Also, while doing this, heft the pot and "calibrate" yourself for how much that pot weighs going from wet to dry-ish, that way you can just lift the pot to see if it's just surface dry, or deeper dry, which then dictates how much you water,... some minor cycling between well watered and semi-dry is OK, but more extremes are not. This plays havok with pH, relative nute conc. (less water content = less dilution), so avoid that if you can,...
The A8 works best is well watered to slightly dry-ish moisture content mediums; too dry and totally soggy gives less accurate readings,.. Read the instructions well, some good tips there.. .. needs to sit for a minute at least to stabilize, but don't let it sit long periods. Don't take readings right after you have fed, or added in pH adjusted water even, this will temporarily skew readings,.... Treat it well, keep it stored clean, in a nice environment. Wipe clean between each actual use with a damp paper towel,... buff the tip up before use after it's been stored for few days or more,... Mine is over 4 years old and still works well ... My grow client abused his outside in a tiny plastic closet-shed full of other landscape plant chem's and crap and his died in a year!
I check pH 1-2x/week, depending on how close things are to being out of range,... don't sweat the little hole poking, that won't faze the plant one bit! If things are wacko, check daily as you try to fix any off pH issues,...
Arti' here suggests wisely, a wetting agent is a must IMO,... this stuff takes the surface tension out of the solution/water, so it can penetrate hydration-resistant mediums more readily,... also key to use in proper foliar spraying.. it makes stuff coat and stick better, not just bead up... more surface area covered = more absorbed ... that and spraying the undersides of the leaves, many more stomata there than topside!

Yeah I’ve never tried any wetting agents before but I did some reading and saw great things said for the one you recommended, and since it’s not extremely expensive I’ll be giving that a try!

The blue amnesia is doing ok , she has 2 autocobs over her as she flowers, the purple is creeping back up the leaf tip edges and the buds look a little burnt dry and purple too.. that deficiency is there, I don’t feel comfortable feeding her though, she’s getting water today with some calmag, is it a good idea to keep giving her a small dose of the sweet candy or should I not push that maybe? She looks about the same as the last pic except more hairs and less leaves, she lost all those yellow leaves she doesn’t have many fans left and the ones she’s got left are giving that purple tinge the others did before they died

.... the color could be part of the normal color expression for that strain,.. she's part Blueberry after all, which are usually nicely colored-up in bloom,... Or still part of the P defc. symptoms!  ... feed her lightly and see how she reacts,... starving isn't helping much either...
SC is more for the soil herd than the plant per se, carbo's and amino acids

I have been drooling over autopots for a while now, up front cost is a factor but mostly I’m just worried I wouldn’t be able to do any more than 2 autopots in a 3x3, which
Kinda kills my plan to have a 4-5 plant rotation perpetually going on for lots of variety and never having to trim all at once which I still have nightmares of

So blue amnesia is getting water today I’m just so on the fence about giving her anything in it because she’s one ugly gal and I do feel so bad for saying that because it’s my fault she is, though I wish I knew precisely why

Yeah @Waira she does seem to be trying to purple up a bit it’s just hard to tell on leaves that are mostly dead, and there’s so few of them. She’s trying to form buds but this is pretty sad to watch. She says feed me but when I do she stands on the brink of death for a while and I don’t think I can do it to her again. I don’t know if she would survive a flush either... she could possibly.

If I was going to feed her, I’m wondering what she would want? I have GH calimagic 1-0-0, the megacrop, sweet candy and the bud explosion

If I did feed her it wouldn’t be much

you can run 4 pots by running 4 of the 2.2 gallon pots. You can email or call them and ask to have the 2.2 pot instead of the 3.9 gallon pots. you'll still have some surprisingly large plants!
