Hello folks! I made first pollination at last month. I took some pollen from a fastflowring indica type and I pollinated some autos. Now I started to grow my first seeds but I wonder what are the options of their type? Are they definetely auto, male or female? Is there any definitive theory about being indica or sativa of crossovers? Male was indica, pollinated was total sativa.

If you use a true male then you will get both males and females. as far as what they are indica or saliva probably hybrids. for it to be fully auto you gotta keep crossing it to stabilize it. I forgot the percent but something like 80% photo 20% autos some like that on F1 crosses..

thanks for the reply. I didnt know that stabilization point. I can use same pollens for the next time too, right? Cause I stored the pollens at freezer.

Is that percantage for first cross btw?

Now that you have Made F1 seed from your P1s..you need to continue inbreeding filial generations.
The F1 will show zero auto's maybe 1 or 2 in a thousand with some being faster to flower under 12/12.
Grow out the F1 seed you already made find a suitable male(s) and female(s) and make F2s by crossing F1xF1...
Grow out your F2 seed..roughly 25% will show the auto trait at F2..
Find the most desirable autoflowering F2 guys and gals make F3s by crossing F2xF2..your resulting F3 seeds should be fully autoflowering.

Thats the short of it...I would suggest running alot of F2s when you get to that point only 25 in 100 will auto and a majority will probably not have what your looking for...breeding is a numbers game.

I wish you luck on your adventure.

If you use pollen from your first filial generation which should be heterozygous for autoflowering if you did everything right and simply let that pollen hit another f1 female you will indeed get roughly 25% autoflowers in your f2 grow out, but seeing that 25% requires numbers as it is always the roll of the dice i.e. independent assortment at work.

You will also have 25% homozygous for photoperiod which would be a bust if you picked that seedling to go forward with.

However, you could simply use your f1 pollen which you know is heterozygous for the autoflower gene and backcross to the same autoflower. If done at the f1, you would then have an f1bc1. Done at the f2 you would have an f2bc1. This would result in 50% of your seedlings being homozygous for the autoflower gene. 50% would simply be heterozygous for the autoflower gene as well, but all should carry the autoflower gene.
