Hi guys.

I'm looking to run 100+ (might double that) girls on a south facing hill in the interior of Alaska this summer, guerilla style. I had a successful grow last season running a collection of 25 autos.

Does anyone have experience or know of any strains that will be done with the extremely long daylight hours over the 3 month summer? The middle of August is really the last days of Sun before frost sets in. That gives 100~ days of being outside in addition to the 2 weeks I will start them inside to be out by the first week of May.

Any suggestions would help as this is something that I will have to dig around for to find winning genetics that will meet the short season requirements.

:peace:"AFN smoke out":tiphat:

The strains I ran last summer:

Paradise Vertigo
Dinafem Critical Jack
Sweet Seeds Sweet Skunk
Cream of the Crop Narcotic Kush
World of Seeds Northern Light x Big Bud
Delicious La Frutta Di Venus
Dutch Passion Auto Blueberry
Dutch Passion Think Different

Everything did well except for the critical jacks were not going to finish in time but we're spotted by a parental unit anyways and axed.

Looking for something smaller scale such as off cres or the Dragon crew. Or perhaps just some flowers that can finish as fast as the autoblueberry but pack more yield.

The best seeds were the northern lights x big bud and blueberry if anyone sees this looking for similar advice.

You can find what strains are best for your exact area

I would recommend that you go for reliably fast finishing strains, although I think you know already that this will be necessary. Anything which doesn't flower isn't going to harvest. I can't offer any specifics for your location, although I will be aiming to have my outdoors activities finished by August due to moisture issues. I had an Auto Amnesia (a freebie, but I think possibly Dinafem) which was very poor outdoors and extremely mould susceptible, It's a real shame because it was fantastic indoors. I also felt that Barneys Farm Little Cheese just wanted the conditions to be a bit nicer then they were, although it managed. Personally I would steer clear of anything from Short Stuff, although I know some people have had good success with them

I grow at lat 53 up in the mountains and find autoblueberry to be a quick flowerer, automazar and thinkdiff take anothr month to finish as does bigbang auto. Super critical auto greenhouse seeds is as quick as blueberry and yields the same, has a very different taste but still very nice.

I would pick a few that worked last year and grow those. while you are at it start a patch to make seed. They will learn to grow out side quick or somethin. I've had good luck with a mix can't really remember what's all in it but blue berry and Ak are for sure I think I russian rocket fuel also. Durimg winter i will rework them in the garage where it stays colder. I'm on forth generation now. last year was a crazy summer so i only got five out but i got some monsters.

Go take a gander over at RCMC, The Highrise and smokealot seed company specializes in northern outdoor climate strains. Geurilla gold, Fast Bionic Geurilla, Theres lots there. A great deal is going on right now double seeds for orders from them. Take a look at the Uleash da green forums there are lots of northern growers on that site and will show you the way. Im lat 48 and am going to try lots of autos and some peakseedsbc texada timewarp crosses. Good luck on the hunt but definatly go and check out what I said you might just find what your lookin for..K.I.M.
