Where I'm at, mid-grade runs about $20 for an 1/8 oz, $10-$15 a gram for hydroponic/top grade. If you know the right people you can usually get a better price for buying in larger amounts (I had a hookup that sold 1oz mid for $100 and hydro for $50 per 7 grams), but that's not always an option. Of course, it's take what you can get here too. Mid-grade is either whatever Mexican cartel weed the locals have got by the brick, or beat-up overly old hydro that can't command top shelf prices anymore, and rarely just some middle of the road grown stuff. On the other hand, the top shelf stuff is usually a known and recognized strain, but you're at the mercy of whatever they brought in this week (don't want OG Kush? Too damn bad, that's all the guys got this time), being as there's no dispensaries hereabouts.

WAY too damn much in my opinion. It's the main reason I started growing; security, peace of mind (four different people I knew got busted in the past year leaving buys), and better selection were all big perks though. I'm never going back to buying again; it took me several hundred dollars to set up my box and soil mix, but I'll be set for years on both fronts and the seeds were under 200 for nearly two dozen. It's SOO much cheaper to grow your own, even with the cost of seeds sometimes hitting absurd levels (5 pounds sterling for ONE!? Some strains are ridiculous).

£25 for 2g, a q will be £45 for fast dryed shit and £60 or £70 for good stuff, ounces are £180 for shite and between £220-280 for good stuff althought most I would pay is £250

Damn, weed is expensive in the UK! In God's Dollars that's almost 500 for an ounce!!!

How you people haven't gone Oliver Cromwell on your leaders over that is beyond me.

not long ago we were at $600 an ounce, in the last 4 months we have dropped to around $400 but a 8th will still run you 80 - 100.

In Portland at the Medical Clubs which will be selling rec October 1st, I've seen oz's going for as low as $79 an ounce on special up to $260 or so for top shelf.

Local Rec store here in Vancouver, WA had grams for $4 this past weekend as their 4th of July Special.

And those are prices for tested bud! Amazing. It makes me wonder some times why I even grow my own. I guess that is why is my hobby rather than an income source. *LOL*

Well, even at a steal like 4 per gram, that's still over $100 per ounce. Growing is still cheaper by a wide margin, even if you use expensive to power lighting or buy fresh soil and nutes instead of composting and brewing your own teas (and if you do that, the price falls further still).

Plus, you get EXACTLY the smoke you want. Let's not forget just how awesome it is to grow your own, even if your situation gives me hope legal dispensaries would lead to a price fall.

I think the prices are going to come down to $100-$125 for top shelf once Oregon gets everything rolling. They will be able to sell rec Oct. 1, however no rec growers have been licensed so the bud will come from medical growers. So they will allow rec about the same time the fall harvest starts to come in.

Price is pretty constant here, it's the quality that varies. Usually paying about $50 for 2.5g and the quality had been getting poorer and poorer lately. Can't wait to start doing my own grows so I can stop paying out the ass for the stuff.

Getting closer, got about 8 different strains of autos ready to germ and my led arrived yesterday! Just need my tent, ventilation and heater and I'll be good to go!

The average here is £10 per gram but I've heard people talking in the the pub of nought point shadies for £10, prob around 0.6-0.8g. For an oz it will cost you anything from £180-£220 and it's always the same, "it's blues mate". Bull crap, it's never been blueberry, it may have come from a strain years ago but it's not that much cop now. Glad I don't have to rely on the dealers. Home grown all the way, not bought any for about 7 years now.
