Whats up my fellow cannabis lovers! I've been researching for a bit now, and decided to take the leap into growing. After much reading, I've decided to go with autos. 1-2 oz/mo is perfect for me. I plan on using kind soil and a LED light. Not sure which brand I wanna go with, but definitely wanna start with something on the lower end price wise. Any suggestions/tips are welcomed, and I look forward to talking with you all.

Welcome to AFN.It's hard to recommend led's cause there are so many now.Try amazon or e-bay there are tons of lights to check out butif you find one you may like, copy the link and someone will look at it to see if it's worth trying.

To AFN!!!!

Mars Hydro is actually one of our vendors here. I know of quite a few growers who are using that light quite successfully! What size will your grow space be?

Welcome you ever have any questions tag me I only grow with kind soil and know it well..

You only need one light for the set up the Amare p 300 is perfect and being an AFN member you get a 20% discount.. A 2x3x5 is perfect for two plants but there would not be enough room for an hid light in it as they are big with the air cooled hood

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking about grabbing this one. Seems to have good reviews on Amazon and saw a few people here uses it.

You can get it cheaper on ebay I think they are 70. I have a couple and a couple of the 600's, they grow plants and buds. Not bad for a starter light if you're on a budget. I now wish I had gone with a bit better quality of light. You can't go wrong with @Ripper 's recommendation thou the price might scare ya. In the long run, actually pretty fast, the extra expense will pay for itself with much bigger and frostier buds. Efficiency and Par levels are much better. Read and ask questions, I wish I had done more of it before recently educating myself on them.
