Lighting Which AMARE to buy..

@Ripper, I'm in Monterey, Ca. (by Carmel & Pebble Beach) - literally one block from the ocean. I have to deal with really cool climates and high humidity because of location. My garage is approx. 57 degrees f, with 75% humidity. You have me excited about the possibilities of growing in the garage with cob lights, summer months may be best. If they will put off even just a little heat, I should be good. This little 3x3 tent is killing me, I am going large- just ordered some Cheese xxl & White Widow xxl and they need good space. I will be purchasing a tent & starting my research on the cob. @Burr_nit gave valuable input about "advertised watts on what are prob non-cob lights" and I will be looking for that. You have both made this noobie's day...I'm on a mission for equipment now!

Just pm me if you have any questions.. I have all my fresh air come from my vents in the garage I have it to a science but where I am it is way to hot in the summer.

@Ripper - Well, I cannot afford an Amare cob light at this time, but I can upgrade from my led. I have ordered a tent (96x48x80 cm) for my garage with (2) 1000 w cob/led. This will alleviate the crowding in my little 3x3x7 tent and give my xxls the room they need. Thanks for the encouragement and the tips on growing in a cool garage.

Cool post pictures when you have it set up. And you ordered 2 1000 wat cob/led.. what may I ask did you order?

Unfortunately, I had to go inexpensive: Amazon product ASIN B01N9A82RV
What I figured out AFTER I ordered them is that I should have gotten lights with at least 520nm-620nm, but I got 280nm-315nm (which is ineffective). They are an upgrade to my led, so I'm happy with that. What will be comedic is watching me try to put this huge tent together! Going to Home Depot to get 2x4s and plywood for the ground of the tent, great tip.

Funny they advertise it as a 100 watt light but it actually runs at just over 200 watts..

I use 2" rigid styrofoam insulation instead of 2x4's and lay the plywood on top then put the liner back in on top. Raised my tent temps about 15° with lights out I was under 40° now lights out stays right around 57° I'm still running 24/0 till spring though
