That's 1 thing I like about my diy cobs is the freedom to dim, and raise/lower lamps to use minimum watts necessary to meet your needs at any given time. I love them.
Yep just wish I was technical enough to build my own as the ones out on the market are still pricey.
Would you recommend the 20/4 cycle over the 24/0 and 18/6?
I've always ran 18/6 with autos so for me any other schedule is still to be tried and tested. iv always had great results with 18/6 but I'm looking at prolonging the lights on schedule to cope with the freeze and the cold snap in between lights out can stunt and affect yield big time in my experience.
For me it's all about getting the balance right between keeping temps right, energy costs down and enough light for decent end product.
