It'll be the 4th test actually (for the Walters) just the first official one.
We did one beds worth of Walters when we had to fill a gap in the flowering room (40 plants), then some months ago there was a case of this that I thought could just be an isolated incident. Then I did 80 ish for the greenhouse.
In all cases the best were picked out, but that's the usual method, however didn't have any non-starters, or die offs from what I remember.
If it goes smoothly as I think it will, maybe we can try to rule something's out, or advise them to be grown only as we do..
It's not ideal by any means, and a bit sad actually as of course if we'd seen or encountered any major or even minor problems along the way then the seeds would never have left the farm.
