Indoor white sirius in dwc and l.e.d

Simply amazing, I think Stitch is happy to see the potential of this strain, here we see the combination of a master breeder and a master grower. And I'm sure they can do both, but from my POV this is very exciting as my system at this time is also LED, but near the bottom end of the wattage scale, so I know I am only getting a hint in terms of yield potential.

A preliminary smoke report at around week 9 is quite surprising. This is one of the strongest strains I've grown myself in the past year or so I've been at it, it's already very relaxing in a way I've never felt so far, although Cream Caramel and Blue Himalaya are also on the indie-dom side.

And this girl should probably get at least 2 more weeks if not 3, I'm trying me best not to smoke her up as I have no backup stash yet. I just work my way from bottom to top, saving the best for last.

But for how young she is this is already some great smoke. The aroma is now this wonderfully creamy sweet candy smell with just a hint of hashy goodness, and that transfers to the taste even with flash drying in the microwave. Very smooth and sweet, with the rich hash flavor becoming more pronounced and the aftertaste is wonderfully sweet, I'm just smacking my lips and enjoying it.

I think this strain is a winner, I hope my BH pollen still has some juju left in it. I spent a whole day just reading about OG Kush and Chemdawg, and now I get to experience it...this is some next level $hit! (for me)

are you feeding your plants sugars like molasses as i find that gives them a sweet/fruity aroma, my sirius doesnt smell like anything sweet/fruity but more of a minty dank cannabis and i swear she is more on the white widow side of things which if she is im expecting a blizzard in my grow room but its to early to predict that far ahead, its not normally untill the plants are in bloom when their true aroma comes to life and my yums yums are dominating the aroma side of things, they are some dank fru tay mo fukers

Hey seymour, once again I've gotta give you props bruv, lovely looking plant but I've got a question for you,how do you manage to keep these plants so bushy, mine just stretch,my current freddys best is 1.4m tall and almost 1m wide?

the million dollar question,

its genetics and phenos, if you look at some of my plants that ive grown some are like christmas tress and some just spread out, given the choice i like the bush phenos the best, freddys best is a reg strain so you do get plenty of time to top and spread them out so they have more bud sites and an even cannopy but its pretty much lucky dip with autos, i was only gifted 3 seeds from "stitch" and this was the only 1 that made it above ground

your freddys best sounds a lot like my auto taiga was, stunner of a plant as well untill she snapped in half at about week 8 and i was only using half power on her for that grow

the sirius got a fresh res change on wednesday evening and ive checked on her water levels today and ive come to the conclusion she is just a greedy bitch

i use the blue tape as my fill indicator and by this evening she will be halfway through her res in 2 days, ive changed her ratios around to try and compensate but it didnt seem to work so ill have to go maximum feed of 2.4 ec on her next change out and that will be my limit

You fill to the blue tape!!

The base of your net pot must be well under the res.. maybe an inch!! I normally have mine at... maybe a cm max...

Never stop your titbits of info Seymour.. No matter how trivial they may seem to you bro... Silly little things like this can make a heck of a difference... I would say.

Note to self:.. Make more minor adjustments to set up when home from work...

:smokebuds:

Oh & yeah.. She is a greedy bitch!!

How does the song go... "Big girls you are beautiful" ;)

You know what, last night after I wrote I was thinking the flavor reminded me of White Widow, well I grew a Mohan Ram which is WW x S.A.D. I think.

I use a pretty good potting soil, very black, with lots of drainage care of small, light stones, and only organic stuff like Fish (5-1-1), Seaweed, and this time I am using a 5-5-5 through flowering, although I'm really not applying much as the plants are very green. I actually don't know exactly what's in the 5-5-5, it is a pre-mixed dark colored, stinky juice.

I find that the stinkier the stuff I feed that plants, and that includes the culinary herbs, the stronger the aroma I get. I don't know if this is normal, but I had rosemary that was sticky like weed, such was the production of resin/oils by the herb. So far the combination of organic and LED gives me great quality, the buds are always so sticky, but yields and overall time might not be ideal.

That's why this grow is so interesting, it kind of blows my mind that a huge plant can grow in a relatively shorter time than what I am used too.

BTW, not sure if this is common knowledge, but is Sirius a reference to the Dog Star, or should I say ChemDawg Star?

Great eye Kush, you couldn't be more correct that it is the sum of all of the small details that makes Seymour such a master. I have no doubt you will be a master also my friend. It's the thirst of knowledge and correctly applying it IMO that separates the great ones from the average ones at anything in life. As we both know it takes a lot of reading and studying just to make a soil grow successful and DWC requires even more as we all are learning from Master Seymour.

If I remember correctly I did start my TD grow with the res levels up to the base of the tape... But I had to drop it lower to coax my roots down... Never put res level up again since...

That was then though... I'll have another go at that depth..

I know you like to keep your res level high SB.. to promote more feeder roots... I just didn't think it would have been that high... You'll be working with around 15L of water in your buckets then... Cool.
