Indoor white sirius in dwc and l.e.d

You know what, I have two phenos, one a taller x-mas tree and the other a shorter, fatter x-mas tree:

pardon the blurry shot

The taller one on the right has the sweet aroma. The monster on the left truly has little smell at all, just a hint of green smell.

She is very leafy but her crown is much branchier and fatter, it'd hard to see in the pic. I hope when she fills out it'll become obvious what a sick pheno this is, I really wish I had fresh pollen yo try to harness her genetics, but I have one more WS bean that I can maybe cross with KVS in the near future.

I'm reminded of descriptions of Northern Lights, a legendary Afghan-based strain I have dreamt (is that not a spell-check word?) of since the beginining of the internet and the orginal Sensi Seed Bank descriptions. So also is leftie a a phat-a$$, low odor strain. I have no doubt the smoke from fat-leftie will just K(r)USH, a snap her sweet sister literally made my body vibrate last night...

I have snipped some lower branches from the plant on the right, but obviously it stretched out more. I let them both stretch too much, there is like a foot of useless stem on both plants, not sure how that affects overall yield.

So I think you got the stealth monster pheno, Seymour, which I am also equally excited about. She is quite behind the other one, so perhaps she has a longer and higher yielding flowering cycle.

I'm used to the branchier phenos that Sweet Seeds has been putting out, but these large main colas and what I consider to be adequate branching is really cool to see, even with just one Blackstar 240 I think you can see these plants want to be HUGE, I figure one's system is the limit.

The fact that I have weaker, top lighting makes me think if I had more lights at angles and a larger space, we'd see rounder ball-shaped plants like Chef Seymour is cooking up here.

The taller one is about 30", and the black lighter resting near the top of the left plant will hopefully give an idea of bud size and there are still several weeks left on leftie.

The advanced girl at 62 day...this tarty little branch has been sleeping around! Up to three different Blue Himalaya's pollen have been painted onto her a couple weeks ago. Is WS#2 pregnant? Who's baby is it? Find out next time on Canna-Jerry Springer!!!

You fill to the blue tape!!

The base of your net pot must be well under the res.. maybe an inch!! I normally have mine at... maybe a cm max...

Never stop your titbits of info Seymour.. No matter how trivial they may seem to you bro... Silly little things like this can make a heck of a difference... I would say.

Note to self:.. Make more minor adjustments to set up when home from work...

:smokebuds:

Oh & yeah.. She is a greedy bitch!!

How does the song go... "Big girls you are beautiful" ;)

I did notice that SB fills to the tape even though my ikon instuction pack states that you should keep it lower than the netpot.

Now my question is,if you did as the instuctions advised, wouldn't the roots behave as if they were in an airpot,ie: get pruned by the air and sprout more roots making a better root system for the plant to feed?

its only touches the pot until the roots grow down then you make an air space as o2 is more important than h20 for healthy rapid roots
think aeroponics

no

if you create a gap between the base of the netpot and the water level it encorages corded roots, what you want is as many feeder roots in the res as possible for maximum uptake of nutrients, this is why my white sirius is emptying her res so quickly because the majority of her roots are all feeders

have a look into root growth and structures and you will see what im talking about and you will aslo see why i try and run my res about 1" above the base of the net pots

day 41

im just about to give the white sirius another res change made up bloom and micro with the grow nutrient at half dose again, i cant keep up with her appetite so im just gonna do what i have to do, ive kept her ec an 2.2 and ph 5.9

sorry for the pics but i cant get a full shot of the plant in all her glory, i need like a 3-d viewer where you can zoom around the plant and get grasp of what she looks like

Amazing dude,I bet you love opening your tent doors lol. I've got lots of 3 fingered leaves on my Sirius,I've never had that before.

Speechless...

She's a brute... Sorry.. I mean beaut!!

Is this Sirius known to be a heavy yielder Seymour, if so.... Just think

Well done bro... Fu**ing awesome.

yeah its nice but my dreams are bigger and better

all female cannabis plants are heavy yielders mate its down to the grower to unlock their potenial, give them a good enviroment and enough nutreints and light and you will be amazed at how they respond and what they will do for you ;)

:jump: Cheers homie that's good to know..

Hey did you set your pH first with these genesis nutes like the bottle says??

I did a test bucket last night... Set pH at 5.5... Added nutes... pH 3.4!! Eh??

Guess it'll have to be set after then..

Forget all that dude up there Seymour... I've just checked my thread & seems you've called in..
