This is day 5 since sprout for the baby White Train. Currently under 125 watt cfl 6400k. Usually I use T5 lighting but I have to get new bulbs. In a few days it will going under a mix of a 192x3 Mars reflector, a Mars old style 300 watt and a Topled 400 watt. It is planted in a 3 gallon equivalent Super roots air pot. I've switched back to Potters Gold soil. I probably be using the General Organics lineup of nutrients, however I am contemplating trying something different, so it may change. The seed was planted directly to soil, no presoaking, it germinated in 3 days. Here's a couple baby photos. Thanks for taking a look.

I like it, Lush green leaves on a 5 day old seedling.

Off to a good start, I'll race ya to the finish line!

125 watt cfl 6400k seems like a lot for a little seedling, I thought my 56 watt CFL was overkill.
How far is the light from the seedling?

What do you think of the theory that a seedling only requires 500 Lumens per Square foot?

It's about 16 inches, if I see it starting to stretch much I'll lower it some. This isn't my regular light, I have to get new bulbs for my T5 light tomorrow. I really don't pay much attention to that theory you mention, I adjust as I need to and usually I have them under the led's around day 10 if I feel it's a strong seedling.

Lol, we can race, but I think the Sour crack will finish a little quicker, but I do have 4 days head start on you.

Maybe you are only one day ahead? I started the seed on June 24.

I am really glad you are starting under CFL. I wonder what effect the narrow spectrum will have on growth. I am tempted to grow another Sour Crack under a Grownorthern HS1 for comparison. But there are so many other variables....

I am looking at JR's 2 Sour Cracks grown together, wildly different results.
The first picture on Page 8 says it all:
