My grow space is in another building and I'd like to have a way to monitor temps remotely. I didn't find much online searching for wifi hygrometers.

Is this something available in the industry at reasonable prices?

Check Amazon for remote thermometers or check your local home improvement stores, they may carry them also but they may have some limits depending on how far your building is from your house.

Put a remote camera aimed at one locally.

Not a bad idea. But if you have more than one place you want to monitor, you'd need a few cameras. It looks like there are some hygrometers (like only 2 that I found) that allow multiple probes hooked up to one wifi router. Must be newer technology because there are not a lot of options.
