Live Stoner Chat Windows 8 sucks

My wife got this new notebook on Black Friday and it's got Windows 8. Her son-in-law has been working the bugs out of his Windows 8. Gonna look into Linux and Ubuntu. Not a big computer wiz. Just give me something I can use w/o this app or this missing update. The screen enlarger is driving me nuts.

Ya know, Win 3.1 had useful features they dropped in later versions, Like tiling windows on one desktop. you could drag and drop between multiple open widows! THAT os what windows was meant for. BUT, people think a pc should work like a toaster, push one button and it will do everything for you............Its sad really. A pc is the most powerful information tool ever and it gets relegated to sending email and rotting brains with Facecrook, err....facebook.............

This is the only "social" network I belong to. I'm not on Facebook, Twiter or whatever's out there. I just want a operating system that will be easy to use. Swiping the screen in Win 8 and the other crap is just a pain.

I've actually tried upgrading twice to win 8, that's TWO times I tried to like it hahaa. Went back to 7. Waiting for 9, which won't be long apparently, after the hell they got about the forced stupidity of win 8, they've been working quick to return to the things everyone liked in 7. Imagine that crazy idea, making a product people don't hate lol. So many of these tech companies have totally lost touch somehow...
