Costa was unimpressive at the WC but he was a beast for Atletico Madrid this year. Not only scored plenty of goals but did it at crucial times in big matches. The guy has a bad hamstring and looks out of gas after all the playing time this spring in La Liga and the CL. I think he'll be fine in Mourinho's system and certainly a major upgrade over the other options at Chelsea. I guess anyone could be a bust, but Shevchenko was never a good fit and I don't see Costa flaming out like that assuming he can stay healthy. If nothing else he brings some grit and power that has been missing since Drogba left.

chelsea, mourinhos style of play and costa is a win win situation for all partys including atletico, i reckon chelsea would have won the premier league last season if they had costa. he just doesn't suit the style of play of the national team. any predictions for englands game tonight?
