New Grower World of Seed NL & BB auto X 5

The bloom nutes start today, day 34, 10ml cal/mag bloom and a half cap supethrive, 6.3ph. On Tuesday all will get 10ml tiger bloom, 10ml big bloom and some superthrive and Thursday all will get 10ml beastie bloomz. The beastie bloomz should be cut in half if used with other nutes so I am going to give it seperate. This will be my schedule until harvest unless something looks bad. The sledgehammer appears to help with nute uptake as well as getting rid of the fert buildup, also seems to make the ph easyer to control. This is only the third time I have used sledgehammer but I really think anyone using FF ferts should think about this stuff and the kangaroots has made the roots just explode. Can't wait to see what this beastie bloom will do.

Good Luck Beastie Brother! One question...do you not intend to switch to Cha-Ching late? The reason I ask, is that I was contemplating (on this grow) not doing that. (Finishing w/ Cha-Ching) I wonder if the N in Cha-Ching kind of "strings along" the finish so it can get one more good flower building. I wonder if the Beastie Bloomz, with it's zero N allows for faster maturation.

Just wondering...

Excellent.

Thanks for the question Trapper. If I understand FF the beastie is for mid to late flower and if you want to extend the flowering that is what cha-ching will do in the last few weeks of flower. I think these instructions are more for photos not autos. If you want a grow within 60-70 days from germination to harvest there isn't enough time for all the dirty dozen that FF has. The sledgehammer and now kangaroots have proven to me they work as claimed. As I get better controling my ph and fert amounts I will extend my grows to try and get all I can from the girls. I think kangaroots has done its' job so I will not use any more, I am replacing it with superthrive. Tonight everyone got 10ml tiger bloom, 10ml big bloom and a half cap superthrive per gal 1600ml 6.2ph water each. The airpots dry so quickly I can water 3 times a week so Thursday they get the beastie. The growth appears to have stopped, two tallest about 40in and the twins at about 34in with my little sweet thing at almost 20in. Buds sites are doing fine. Thanks C. these tall ones turn me on.

That's kind of how I see it too....Use Cha-Ching to extend the last bit of life (hence the added N, IMHO) but wrap with Beastie Bloomz if you're looking to simply finish up.

I'm not sure everyone understands what you and I are experiencing as it relates to large plants in airpots...they get dry pretty fast. I've stretched to 40hrs between feeds and I just am not comfortable going any longer. I start to see droop.

Great Job so far VAGent!

Day 38 and I am sure the vertical growth has stopped and the buds are putting on weight. You are right Trapper, I have been going 48hrs between waterings and I see droop also after just over a day. With both my 6in clip-on fans going full and my tent temps a little high (83-85f) the pots dry very quickly. Everyone got 1 tsp (5ml) beastie bloomz per gal 1500ml 6.3ph and 500ml plain water. The FF people suggest that you use the beastie bloomz for only two or three weeks mid bloom. Since autos only bloom for about 5-6 weeks and most growers flush for a week or two it seems like we can't use the other bloom suppliments. Some of the lower leaves on the tallest plant are yellowing, from no light I guess.

Looking really good gent, you are going to reap some sizeable rewards from that forest you have. They are an excellent strain that do flower for a faip amount of time. If you wanted to you could probably push this strain out to 100 days from seed. I harvested my first one very early due to room constraints, she could have gone at least 3 more weeks that would have put her at that mark. You may be able to use the full bloom range?? Just my two cents :)

Uhhhh.......

1 tsp. per gallon? FF Schedule calls for .25 tsp. per gallon for a full dose (non-autos)......that's a pretty hot load (ammunition reference, not the other) Hope you don't fry her.
Are you counting on no Tiger Bloom being in the mix to help with how hot that is? Just curious.....:)

Don't get me wrong, I hope it works....then I can push mine a bit too. :)

I think we can use the Open Sesame if we want to shock it into flower.....and use Cha-Ching if it's a slow flowerer. My 2 cents

Thanks for the question, the back of the can says 1/2-1 tps if used alone but 1/4-1/2 tps if used with other nutes. I have no experience with this stuff so we both may learn a lesson or two. I went with the high amount and followed with 1/3 by volume of plain water to not over do it. I think the burn comes more from N and wrong ph than P or K, imho. The open sesame and cha-ching sound interesting and if this grow goes well I will get the cha-ching to try on my next plants.

COOL! Data I didn't have...So I was guessing around the truth.... :) I may not go as big as 1 tsp. but at least I know there is some wiggle room. Thanks!
