Yellow/brownish spots on my White Widow XXL

This is copied from my grow log. Not a fan of double posting but I am scared lol

Again had to leave my flowers for a while (9 days...) and asked someone to take care of them. When I got back they got worse I feel like. Yesterday before I came home I went to a store and bought PH meter and CaO. So today is ph testing.

They dont look good at all unfortunately. I germinated them almost a month ago so its quite while in.

First thing I see is I need to turn them frequently, because the undersized part of the plan is further from the lights.

Second is I need to give them less water and ph test my water and solutions. My watering schedule was 1.5l every 3rd day. Its possibly too much, will try less.

Furthermore I have to give them Calcium and should buy Magnesium. I'm not sure tho how much Calcium I should give them tho. My calcium solution is 21% CaO and 10% N. Can you guys recommend something? And what about the Mg?

And I am not sure if they will make it at all they just look bad and I am better off just starting new seeds and maybe put both of the old ones outside and let nature make judgment. I only have space for 2 plants under the lights.

What do you guys think? I appreciate any help.

... weird nutrient balance on that fertilzer,.. what brand is it, and what are the N-P-K #'s? and you dosing amounts? I think you have an off pH situation in that medium, contributing to this,.. Epsom salt for Mg (MgSO4), but i don't really see a Mg defc. issue... they can be saved, but they won't get much bigger, and there's some work to do to fix this,.. I need pH info to do it too!

Hi @Waira ,

The original ph of my water(without the nutes) 8.3, and with the nutes 7.1 so I guess is a bit hi, right?

I use Bionova Autoflower Supermix, 5-2-5 NPK ratios.

And if you think they wont get much bigger should I still put effort and $ into them? Realistically I have to use the lights for 5-6 more weeks I guess, and if they wont get much bigger, I don't know how much and what quality of weed I can get from it because it doesnt look good right now.

Thanks!

...ah, it's the Ca supplement that's a bit alarming, with 10-0-0 N in it? I'd not use that unless in dire need, the excess N will be a problem, especially when in bloom,... This isn't looking like a Ca defc. anyway, plus your water is pretty hard from the looks of it.... Again, I think the soil pH is off, and needs to be tested; correcting that is key to turning them around! they aren't toast yet by any means, but no, they won't get much bigger... here's a link to a decent run-off test method and calculation for in-pot pH: (https://www.autoflower.org/threads/...-for-run-off-testing-and-ph-estimation.41733/ )... read through it, and make sure you have what you need to test them,...

Thank you @Waira Are you sure 10% N means 10-0-0 N?

Okay will measure soil ph too, I'm out of town for 3-4 more days. It sucks that I can't do things ASAP, but what can I do?

If they wont get much bigger do you think its worth the energy and $put into them? Like if they almost stay the same height then I dont know how much I can expect on them...

What do you recommend? Should I keep them despite this?

Hey,

Okay I get why its 10-0-0.

Tomorrow I will do the soil ph testing.

It seems they got better now, I'm happy I believed in them. :D
