New Grower yellow leaves - is it light stress?

I think white vinegar's what a lot of people use or lemon juice - I use the latter, but just a drop or two at a time in water testing as I go.

I had that same probe and started testing water ph and adding lemon and vinegar and it took a cupful of lemon to lower the ph to 6.5 which was obviously WAYYY to acidic. I got some drops locally that work much better. It worked at first(I think.... but not for long)

I read that epsom salts, or maybe coffee granules would do the job, in the meantime I fed it with a nice dose of the grow formula +a lil molasses as I read somewhere it drops ph by .5, not sure about that but the meters (which is pretty shitty but I cant really afford a digi one now) definitly reading lower + the plant is looking happier (phew!)

So it is looking happier, the PH is a little lower 7, but she's still a little peaky and theres those yellow spots, I picked most of the worst leaves off yesterday and noticed some new ones today :s
Is this definitely down to the PH? the ventilation isn't great (one fan, but its LED) plus there's a radiator pipe running right through the cupboard they're in. On the other hand (and plus side!) the lemon skunk I started about a Month after is looking really healthy! (I've just swapped them around to see if its about positioning)

You do know that in the picture of your tester it (looks) like its not set to ph. Not sure if you saw that or not. Also I have a few little yellow spots on a few leaves of my plants. I thought it might have been nute splash. Was it your soil ph for sure??

nah thats an old photo - tried to delete it when i realised, but it turned it into an attatchment for some reason! heres the proper photoIMAG0353.jpg Im sorta feeling that the PH still needs to come down - Epsom salts? (or can I get away with coffee granules?!)

One extra worry/cry for help is that some of the leaf tips are now curling upwards, before feeding them many were curling down :S

Also what would be the best way to lower the soils PH? I read something about vinegar, I only have balsamic in the house, would that work?!

peace x
 dont use balsamic mate, get yourself some plain distilled vinegar, it's cheaper than bottled water in my local shop. as regards your leaves curling, it's difficult to comment without pics but it may not be a cause for concern. plants will often reach up after a feed and it may be a sign that she's recovering:smokebuds:

if thats your actual ph reading, it needs to come way down, 6.2-6.6 is where you need to be in soil. looks like a nitrogen issue in that photo, probably lockout due to your ph. :2cents:

Cheers deuce, was only kidding bout the balsamic! Would Epsom salts be the best thing to do to get it down?
