You may have missed it but I just switched from MH to HPS. Or are you saying I should keep running a MH on top of the 1000 Watt HPS ? I'm not entirely opposed to the idea if you really think it will help, but I'd rather add my 720 LED and use it's veg spectrum. Please explain man! Lol, this is the first time I ever went to the trouble of using and switching spectrums on time and your saying to go back to MH ?

I am pretty new to growing, but I have used and tested many different light sources. My personal favorite source of light going into my current grow has been the Blue MH from eye Hortilux. Not the cheapest bulb out there but man it packs on the trichs. I prefer running this bulb all the way through in my HID lights. But then again I also prefer the spectrums with some more blue in them in the LED's. I think if you can run a "Blue" MH on top of the HPS you would get kick ass results, if you have that option I'd definitely take it. Now realize I am talking about a specific bulb not just any regular old MH.

Now if you were on track to use your MH for veg and then the HPS for flower then have at it, will give you a good base to compare later on. Not trying to tell you what to do just offer some advice.

If I'm ever too good for some advice I hope someone stabs me to death with a spoon ! I appreciate any advice and every perspective friend. I don't see how your suggestion could hurt, but I think my wife will lose her shit if I plug another light in. Since the Ripley's outgrew the tent my set up is in my master bedrooms closet....lmao :smoking:

Light was on and it's pre-bedtime so the fans are droopy.
