Alright, new equipment is starting to trickle in with the mail daily. Today I got nice new rockwool cubes, and the inline fan I'm gonna need for the new 1000 watt MH/HPS that's in the mail. I was so pleased with the price and performance of my last MH/HPS setup that I went with the dsame company. $211 USD for the whole light set up, including the bulbs and ballast, hangers and everything. Such a steal !
Taking the kids school clothes shopping today, but not before I drop more beans ! Down goes a Ripleys OG and a few others.....super excited ! Gonna tighten up my game here and start acting like I know what I'm doing :smoking:

Is that fan in pic for intake? How man cfm does it state? Thanks looks like you almost got it. It's so nice getting all new grow supplies.I also went with mh-hps I have no experience with anything else but got to say I'm happy with its results. I'm looking forward to your grow I love journals helps me have patience while my garden grows.

Thank's for stopping by ! To answer your question, the fan is 250 cfm. I still need a bigger intake and a scrubber, but you know this.

Question for you, did you notice you MH bulb runs a good bit hotter, despite being the same wattage ?

I just got back from a 3 day vacation. Haven't gone to check on the plants yet....pretty nervous to go check on them. Came up short on hydro corn but have a few lbs in the mail that'll be here tomm. I filled the buckets up right to the bottom so it was touching the corn. I also Ph'd my whole set up and added some nutes. Just N-P-K, no micro nutes yet.

I also did a full res change on the Sour Crack and some leaf tucking on the 12th. She sexed on the 10th. As of the 12th, the Hubba hadn't sexed.
I will be able to finish my grow room now that I'm back. Gotta empty and scrub it, spray foam insulation on all the possible insect entries, caulk and spackle every single crack, and then paint everything Flat White 2 times.

Here's what was cooking before I left 2 days ago - I'll be back with a better update ! Good to be home !

Here's the Sour Crack, Filling out nicely. Real tight inter-nodal stacking on the main stem.

I have read more than one person on here saying the Sour Crack is real low odor. Well - tonight my daughter was watching me give

some green TLC and take some pics of the plants, and as I'm doing a little LST to the S.C; she interjects to say "and of course a freaking skunk just sprayed"

Here's a 6-7 day old Skysenberg in T9 secret soil....lol

and last but not least, here's my Hubbabubbasmelloscope - if my cat would back off she'd finally be 100% - regardless, a decent recovery. For the record, she still hasn't sexed. Deff has female characteristics

*As a side note, there are other germed seeds not pictured - some are being held in search of a more robust Seedling - none will be harmed - all will be used

Yes mine mh can run a good 10 degrees hotter but man it kept my plants short and wide. I also bought the bulb that's half of each 300 watt mh 300 watt hps I think it would work great for staggering the grow I'm also going to flower a plant under the mh side to see if different. This is all life changing for me I'm a little late in the growing game but my health has got so bad it's my last hope.I have a couple girl friends survivors who are also on this journey with me we are excited to be here with everyone.You look like you got a good set up going on my ocd is so bad I had to do everything right before I could grow lol took me almost a year to put it all together. Will take me another year to finish my set up. Im going to enjoy your grow I've learnt everything from people like you who share and because of all of you me and my girls will have success.

That's really cool ! If your experience turns out anything like mine, you'll see the quality of your life improve right along with your grows.
I'm curious to check out your threads now ! I'd also be curious to see if you stick to HID lighting over the years.
I started with HPS and CFL supplemental - and eventually dropped the money on a big ass Mars Hydro LED, and I gave it an honest go,
but to me nothing compares to an HPS/MH setup. Aside from the sunshine....lol !

All the grows I've done and I've never had the chance to use an MH bulb for an entire veg cycle. Last time I tried the fan for the light quit and it overheated and stopped working on me.

Dropped 2 Sour Bubbling Crack and 2 more Crinkles - there will be no Alien x Triangle.
I've had a hell of a time with them.

That's 5 AxT beans that I couldn't get to sprout or couldn't keep the seedling going. The first three were from a promo with The Vault and AFN.
The last two I had just ordered.

That being said, it's gotta be something I'm doing, Mephisto only sells nice fresh beans.

Holy crap. No doubt. My garage is just oozing with sour crack odor. So great. I can't stay away, so much so that I even keep offering to go change the laundry, just so i can go look at her and smell all the smells!
