New Grower 1st grow: 60 Day Wonder

Day 6 ~ Evening
Just changed my rezz water (Ph'd @ 5.6) :thumbs:
I also added 1/4 strength nutes for the first time. It called for 2.5ml of each of the following (FloraGro, FloraMicro & FloraBloom per 1 gallon = 5ml of each). I used (2) gallons of water so I added 1.25 or 1/4 tsp per each nute, to equal 1/4 strength.. Sound about right?
One of the 2 new leaves seam to be curling pretty bad, so I raised the CFL's from 7" to 11". What do you think?
Also when I placed my system back in the cabinet I wanted turned it about 90 degrees or so I could take pics from different angels & I noticed how bad the one leaf was curling and to me it almost looks stunted or deformed... the cab stays between 80 - 87 degrees, depending on if the window is open or not.. Is this heat related? Should I be concerned?

Day 7 ~ Morning Pics
Day 7 ~
Started 1/4 strength nutes yesterday & started the 18-6 light cycle lastnight.
Just woke up @ 5am to turn the lights back on! Snapped a couple of shots!
Any thoughts (bad or good) on how she looks so far?

Day 8 ~ Day 7 was very eventful to say the least!!
Day 8 ~ few morning pics!
So... may day starts off like every other day. Get the boys off to school (9yrs & 7yrs) @ 7:15am, blog/AFN, eat breakfast, log into my job @ 9am till 6pm (I work from home! Sweet deal!). Been working from home about 6mo now and have always wanted to grow, after 10yrs the wife just now gave in! She's tired of smoking the bullshit down here just as much as I am!
About 3pm I was logging back in from lunch and lost all power to my Apt...
Now I have lived here 3yrs and this has never happened before... what are the odds 7 days into my 1st ever attempt at growing... I lose all power! WTF..:no:
I started 18/6 light schedule last night, so Mari went to sleep @ 11pm then woke up @ 5am. I Lost power @ 3pm, started packing up my stuff to stay @ a hotel for the night, because the power company advised they wouldn't be out till the next day.
After we took the kids to the grandparents and got back home it was about 6:30pm and dark outside... great... so now I am trying to figure out a way to sneak Mari into the hotel with us. I decide to just take the system and 1 light.
So my wife is holding the flashlight for me, as I am disassembling the hydro system and getting her packed up into a box.
Just as we get everything packed up and ready to load in our truck.....
POOF... the fucking electricty comes back on after 4hrs..... Really!
I was like thank god! I ran outside and thanked the lady that stopped by from the electric company, she said she stopped because she got the order @ 4:30pm and I was on her way home!!
So now all is good and back to normal... I dont think Mari is to dramatized over the situation because she grew quite a bit.. I left the lights on all night, will probably go back to 18/6 tonight.

ZaQ grew out some 60 day wonder a while back and they looked like nice plants, they are up on my must grow list, supposed to be rock hard buds, and WVR has a 60 day lemon going now if you'd like to see i think its around 50 days?... don't quote me on that.... but welcome to AFN and best wishes for your grow
60DW was one of the first seeds I grew out. There's a reason they're as pricey as they are. DNA 60DW and AKR from WoS are idiot proof and the buzz is killer. 60 days is a lie though, I ran mine at 72. 
Your grow looks great so far brother. Take it easy and slow, don't over do the nutes and watch the PH!

The only problem I had was keeping my ph down. Ended up having to change the res 2-3 times a week, it was a great system to let go for a couple days with no nutes in teh res but came out with great results. hopefuly there is a airstone or two in there or itll be a mess. also since your just starting this is the perfect time to fix the only problem with the bucket is you need to drill more holes in the bottem for the roots to escape, at the end of my grow i had about 2 inches of roots bound to the bottom that could have been in the res soaking up all the goodness.

I grew them 79 days from seed. At day 60 all of the trichs were clear or just started to get a little milky. An extra 19-20 days will make a gigantic difference. None of mine grew taller than maybe a foot. They were really compact, buds all the way from the growing medium up to the cola. Fruity as all can be, you'll have to force yourself to not want to squeeze the buds and smell your fingers
I also have a few pictures of the buds dried a few days. As whatsgoodie2 said, careful with your nutrients; easy to overfeed, you can see some nute burn on some of the plants in my pictures. You're going to love them man. I love mine. I love the smoke and the look and the smell. I bought a 6 pack; so I get to grow 3 more at some point in time I'm going to sub up and follow this so I can compare notes for my next grow. Good luck dude, they will be a treat!
